Läs mer på http://www.vgregion.se/skas Beskrivning Ögonkliniken utgör en del av ett verksamhetsområde som innefattar ögonmottagning, öron-näsa-hals-klinik, käkkirurgi, logopedi samt ortopedi. Inom ögonverksamheten arbetar läkare, sjuksköterskor, undersköterskor, optiker och ortoptister i team kring patienten. För närvarande omfattar kliniken 18 läkare varav sju är ST-läkare. Vi använder även bemanningsläkare i verksamheten. Vi söker nu en vikarierande läkarchef till ögonverksamheten. Chefsuppdraget kan också fördelas i ett samledarskap mellan två chefer på deltid. Ögonsjukvården har under de senaste åren genomgått omfattande utveckling och vi arbetar kontinuerligt med verksamhetsförbättring för effektiva patientflöden. Det finns ett regionalt samarbete inom ögonområdet för fortsatt gemensam utveckling. Kliniken har ändamålsenliga och trevliga mottagningslokaler i Skövde och Lidköping samt egna nyrenoverade operationssalar i Skövde. Arbetsuppgifter Som läkarchef ansvarar du för att leda och fördela läkarnas arbete samt säkerställa att enheten besitter den kompetens som krävs för verksamhetens uppdrag. Du ingår i verksamhetens ledningsgrupp och samarbetar nära övriga chefer inom kliniken. Ögonläkare har möjlighet att kombinera chefskapet med klinisk tjänst. Har du ögonläkarbakgrund kommer du att ha ett medicinskt ledningsansvar. Saknar du specialistkompetens inom ögonsjukvård erbjuds du stöd från medicinska rådgivare i relevanta frågor. Chefsstödsfunktioner finns tillgängliga för att bistå i administrativa arbetsuppgifter. Kvalifikationer Vi söker dig som har gediget intresse för personalutveckling och vi vill att du har tidigare erfarenhet av ledarskap och/eller chefskap. Läkarutbildning och helst specialistkunskap inom ögonsjukvård är meriterande. Ditt ledarskap ska präglas av god kommunikation, lyhördhet samt beslutsförmåga med fokus på mål och resultat. Engagemang och en god förebild är av vikt, likaså att du är trygg i dig själv och din kompetens som ledare och chef. Du hjälper patienter och närstående med sina ärenden genom att ansvara för utredning och återkoppling. Du kommer att utföra händelseanalyser och internutredningar samt ta emot ärenden från Patientnämnden, LÖF och IVO. Som en del i patientsäkerhetsteamet har du ett nära samarbete med verksamhetens chefer och klinikens processansvariga läkare. Tillsammans med kollegor håller du i patientsäkerhetsronder. Du kommer att arbeta inom verksamhetens egen kvalitetsorganisation och delta i Sahlgrenska Universitetssjukhusets aktiviteter, möten och kurser som rör kvalitets- och patientsäkerhetsarbete. Delayed assessments result in children being more likely to develop mental health conditions and fall behind in education. Furthermore, the much-needed pre/post-assessment support (outside of ADHD medications) is typically not funded by the NHS.  These long waits have built up due to increased recognition and understanding of neurodevelopmental conditions and a lack of investment and innovation within the NHS to meet the growing demand. Mark and Darshak, with their 25 years of combined NHS experience, including building services that have treated over 1,000,000 patients in obesity & ophthalmology, founded Paloma to change this. About you You are a registered nurse, speech and language therapist, occupational therapist, social worker or practitioner psychologist skilled in ADOS assessments. Key responsibilities The Process Engineer is responsible for ensuring that manufacturing processes are robust, efficient, validated, and compliant throughout the product lifecycle. You will bridge day-to-day manufacturing support with longer-term process development and operational excellence initiatives. The position reports to the COO. Duties and responsibilities include: Develop, implement, and continuously improve manufacturing processes to enhance quality, yield, and efficiency. Lead root cause investigations and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA). Plan, execute, and document validation activities, including Process Validation, Equipment Qualification (IQ/OQ/PQ), Cleaning Validation, and Test Method Validation/Verification. Provide technical support to production, investigating process deviations, non-conformities, and out-of-specification results. Lead continuous improvement initiatives using structured problem-solving methods such as Root Cause Analysis, FMEA, and 5 Why. Ensure processes comply with ISO 13485, EU MDR 2017/745, ISO 14971, and GMP principles. Support audits and inspections by customers, regulatory authorities, and Notified Bodies. Support technology transfers from R&D to production and participate in cross-functional development projects. Approve process validation documentation according to delegated authority and escalate process risks impacting product quality, compliance, or supply. Skills and Competencies The suitable candidate has the following qualifications: Formal academic degree level (BSc. or MSc.) in chemical engineering, biotechnology, pharmaceutical science or related. Strong background in process engineering preferably combined with validation engineering experience. Experience working in a manufacturing environment within a regulated industry (e.g. Medical Devices, Pharmaceuticals, Biotechnology, or other regulated industries). Experience with process optimization, process validation and problem solving. Experience with sterile processes, equipment qualification (IQ, OQ, PQ), process validation, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement would be highly valuable. Experience working with Quality Management Systems. Knowledge of statistical analysis and process capability concepts.
