If you are interested in working experimentally and making a difference in the areas of materials and manufacturing, we look forward to receiving your application.  About the research project   The aim of this project is to investigate the use of Graphene related two-dimensional (2D) materials to improve the performance and efficiency of lithium-ion batteries. 2D materials such as graphene, MXenes, and transition metal dichalcogenides possess high electrical conductivity, large surface area, and excellent mechanical strength, which can enhance charge transport and energy storage capacity. These materials can help address major limitations of conventional lithium-ion batteries, including slow charging rates, low energy density, overheating, and poor cycle stability. The project also aims to explore the functionalization of 2D materials and understand how 2D materials can improve battery safety, extend lifespan, and support the development of lightweight and high-performance energy storage systems for future technologies. Who we are looking for  The following requirements are mandatory:  A doctoral degree in Materials Science, Polymer Chemistry, Physics, or an equivalent foreign degree. Vill du utveckla tekniska lösningar som används på flygplatser och i hamnar över hela världen? FMT har över 50 års erfarenhet av att utveckla och tillverka passagerarbryggor för flygplatser och lösningar för hamnar. Här blir du en del av ett erfaret konstruktionsteam där produktionen finns vägg i vägg med kontoret, något som ger dig möjlighet att följa dina konstruktioner hela vägen från idé till färdig produkt. Vi söker nu en Mechanical Design Engineer som vill utvecklas i en bred roll med stort eget ansvar och möjlighet att påverka både produkter och arbetssätt.   Om rollen Du blir en del av vårt konstruktionsteam och arbetar nära kollegor inom konstruktion, produktion, inköp, försäljning och projektledning. Rollen innebär att du är delaktig genom hela projektet – från att förstå kundens behov och ta fram tekniska lösningar till att stötta produktionen och följa installationen hos kund. Arbetet är varierat och innehåller både konstruktionsarbete och teknisk problemlösning. Många av utmaningarna handlar om att hitta smarta och hållbara lösningar på vardagliga tekniska problem samt anpassa produkter utifrån kundens önskemål.   Dina arbetsuppgifter Ta fram konstruktionsritningar för svetsade konstruktioner och mekaniska detaljer. Utföra tekniska beräkningar och dimensionering. Ta fram ritningar, stycklistor (BoM) och teknisk dokumentation. Delta i planering och beredning av projekt. Vara delaktig i tekniska lösningar utifrån kundens behov. Bidra med tekniskt underlag till kalkyler och prissättning. Ge tekniskt stöd till produktionen och bidra till ständiga förbättringar. Vi söker dig som Har en högskole- eller civilingenjörsexamen inom maskinteknik eller motsvarande. Har cirka 2–3 års erfarenhet av mekanisk konstruktion. Har erfarenhet av att arbeta i ett 3D CAD-system. Erfarenhet av Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD 2D och PLM-system Vault är meriterande. Har god teknisk förståelse för mekanisk konstruktion, hållfasthet och material. Talar och skriver obehindrat på svenska och engelska. Har B-körkort. Det är meriterande om du har erfarenhet av Hydraulik. El eller styrsystem. Materialkunskap. Svetsade konstruktioner. Tillverkande industri eller annan praktisk teknisk bakgrund. Vem är du? Vi tror att du är en tekniskt nyfiken och ansvarstagande person som trivs med att lösa problem och omsätta idéer till fungerande lösningar. Du är kvalitetsmedveten, strukturerad när det behövs och kan självständigt driva ditt arbete framåt. Samtidigt är du flexibel och trivs i en verksamhet där alla hjälps åt och där den ena dagen sällan är den andra lik. Du är prestigelös och bidrar till en positiv teamkänsla. Du kommunicerar väl med människor omkring dig och har lätt för att samarbeta med både produktion, projektledning och andra tekniska funktioner.
