What You Bring
Extensive experience in industrial automation and control systems engineering
Siemens PCS 7
Experience developing industrial control system software
Strong understanding of automation and process control systems
P&IDs
Wiring diagrams
Loop sheets
Instrument datasheets
Experience with industrial communication protocols
Experience with configuration management and software version control
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
Excellent communication skills in English
Experience working in international engineering environments

Assignment Description We are looking for an experienced Senior Control System Engineer What You Will Work On Design and develop control systems for gas turbine service and modernization projects Develop and configure control logic using Siemens PCS7 and T3000 Participate in engineering development projects for control system solutions Improve and optimize existing control system products Perform control system design, programming, and configuration Support modernization and lifecycle upgrades of industrial control systems Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams including Electrical, Instrumentation, Functional Safety, and Cybersecurity Produce and maintain technical engineering documentation Participate in technical reviews and design verification Troubleshoot and resolve control system issues Support testing, commissioning, and system validation activities when required Ensure engineering solutions meet quality, safety, and customer requirements Work both independently and as part of project teams What You Bring Minimum 8 years of experience in control system engineering for gas turbines Strong experience in control system design and development Hands-on experience with Siemens PCS7 and/or Siemens T3000 Experience working on industrial automation or power generation projects Ability to work independently and within multidisciplinary engineering teams Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication skills in both Swedish and English Structured, quality-focused, and proactive working style
At Heart Aerospace we develop the ES-30, a regional hybrid-electric airplane with a capacity of 30 passengers, an electric zero-emission range of 200 km and an extended hybrid range of 800 km. Heart is targeting type certification of the ES-30 by the end of the decade. Your mission We are seeking a highly motivated Turbomachinery Engineer to join our Propulsion team. You will lead the design and integration of the turbomachinery components, including the fuel system and pitch control system. You will interface across mechanical, thermal, electrical, and control systems to deliver a fully integrated and certifiable propulsion unit. Key responsibilities include but are not limited to: * This role is a Responsible Engineer (RE) focuses on the integration of turbomachinery into our hybrid aircraft. * Full ownership over design, fabrication, and certification of the hybrid powertrain. * Lead the design of turbomachinery, including combustion systems, fluid analysis, exhaust, high-speed rotating machinery, and similar. * Lead and execute system-level tests, such as engine and propeller test stands. * Collaborate with suppliers to ensure delivery of integrated, certifiable subsystems. * Model the gas turbine in to our high fidelity digital twin for optimization of our hybrid mission profile. Skills & Requirements You'll Bring These Qualifications: * 2+ years of professional experience working with propulsion components such as gas turbines, thermal management systems, propellers, and ancillary systems. * Hands-on experience with propulsion or powertrain test stands, including instrumentation, controls, and mechanical assembly. * Experience with CAD (e.g., Siemens NX), Python, system integration, and PLM tools. * Proficient with static and dynamic structural analysis through simulations on either of Ansys, Nastran, or Abaqus. These Qualifications Would Be Nice to Have: * Understanding of certification requirements (EASA CS-23/25 or FAA FAR Part 23/25). * Knowledge of drivetrain dynamics, rotor balancing, or propeller aerodynamics. * Demonstrated leadership qualities through cross-functional teamwork on challenging problems. Education: * Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Mechatronics Engineering (or similar). Base Pay Range: $124,000—$216,000 USD
A Snapshot of Your Day Join our Electrical Engineering team and create detailed, customer-specific electrical designs for Medium Gas Turbine projects. You’ll work closely with project teams to deliver layouts, circuit diagrams, and documentation, ensuring every customer requirement is met. Support projects from design through assembly, collaborating with control, mechanical, and project lead teams. You’ll also interact with assembly, site teams, subcontractors, and purchasing, making a real impact in a growing market. How You’ll Make an Impact Deliver electrical designs and documentation, including layouts and circuit diagrams. Collaborate with control, mechanical, and project lead teams to meet project goals. Support assembly and site teams throughout the project lifecycle. Work with subcontractors, purchasing, and sales to align on requirements. Contribute to a culture of quality, improvement, and teamwork. What You Bring Degree in electrical engineering and several years of experience. Proficiency with Eplan, AutoCAD, SPICE, and customer documentation. Experience with power generation products; COMOS and SAP knowledge is a plus. Strong English communication skills. Team-oriented, driven, and focused on quality and customer satisfaction.
