Business Unit Manager – Product Oglethorpe, GA Pay Rate: $168,400 – $205,800 Multiple factors, including Individual experience, skills and abilities will determine where an employee is ultimately placed in the pay range. Category/Shift: Salaried Full-Time About The Role: The key accountabilities listed below are not to be considered all-inclusive; a team member may be required to perform additional tasks, as directed, based on changing business needs of the company. * Support GCF’s goals by demonstrating responsibility for the overall leadership of the Product Unit including planning, scheduling and execution of operations. * Champion safety efforts resulting in superior performance by modeling and maintaining an environment of safe work practices and proactive approach to safety management. * Participate in the development of budget, strategic, and capital plan processes * Develop succession plans within the Product Unit. * Develop leadership skills and process knowledge of unit leadership personnel. * Drive efforts in key focus areas including safety, production and cost efficiencies, reliability, team member engagement, and environmental stewardship, to achieve or exceed targeted performance. * Provide leadership and resources to support engagement and a high performance work team. * Ensure development and implementation of manufacturing systems, including use of sustainability tools such as Trouble/Cause/Correction (TCC) and Centerlining. * Clearly communicate and demonstrate quality principles and processes. * Help develop, demonstrate and support an organizational culture based upon values of empowerment, high involvement, and participative work force in a customer - and quality-focused organization. * Take initiative to pro-actively deal with issues both with the team and cross-functionally, ensuring communication flows to and from team. * Understand and meet internal and external customer requirements. * Develop, maintain, and use sustainable methods for all processes and their improvements. * Manage team members in the mill as necessary to minimize downtime and maintain quality, and sets clear expectations holding team members accountable for meeting them. * Fulfill area specific 5S expectations. * Maintain and develop team relationships. * Develop cross-functional process skills. Quality Expectations * Ensure an understanding of quality policy and support efforts for a positive customer experience. * Aid in the execution of mill-wide quality efforts as needed to help maintain mill quality standards. About You: Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Minimum * Minimum of 10 years experience in a manufacturing lead position in pulp and paper mill. Experience with Paper Machine is required. * Experience developing and implementing annual productivity plans. * Demonstrated management experience as a leader of a manufacturing process with accountability for safety, reliability, people development and performance * Strong written & verbal communication skills; problem solving, negotiation, presentation and training delivery skills. * Microsoft Office Proficiency * Demonstrated leadership skills including experience with salaried direct reports, combined with technical paper-making knowledge required Preferred * Bachelor’s degree in science, engineering, or pulp and paper science * Experience in strategic planning and budgeting processes. * Experience working in and managing High Performance Work Systems. * Experience working at multiple mills * Greenbelt Certification About Global Cellulose Fibers (GCF): Our GCF business helps customers transform renewable cellulose fibers into essential everyday products. Regional Sales Leader *Remote with frequent travel throughout the western region California, Washington, and Oregon* Qualified candidate must be located within 1 hour of a major airport. Role Summary: At the direction of the Head of National Sales and in close collaboration with the Business Unit Manager, the Regional Sales Leader (RSL) is responsible for leading the region’s sales team to achieve budgeted sales forecasts and revenue growth. This role includes direct sales engagement and day-to-day leadership of Business Development Specialists (BDS), while building their own regional C-level client relationships. The RSL is accountable for pipeline ownership, proposal delivery, sales planning, and ongoing team development. In addition to sales leadership, the RSL will champion customer success initiatives and drive client growth through increased share of wallet. The RSL plays a critical role in coaching and mentoring the sales team to operate with integrity, excellence, and empathy, and ensure alignment with operations to deliver optimal client solutions.
