As a Software Engineer Android, you will design, build, and maintain the foundational components that every feature in our app
relies on. You’ll be responsible for architecture, code quality, and delivery cadence for the platform capabilities we develop,
including areas such as networking, app architecture, performance, developer tooling, and shared libraries. You will take part in
technical discussions across the organization, helping shape the long-term technical direction of our Android platform.

The role: As a Senior Software Engineer, Android, you will be responsible for enabling and performing highly efficient application development, improving the Truecaller services for the Android platform. You will be deeply involved in the whole cycle of product development, from idea generation to delivery. What you will do * Write code with great code standards * Deliver complex features on both front-end intensive tasks and performance improvements on the existing code base * Cover the code implementations with tests and improve the code coverage * Participate in code reviews and technical design discussions * Bring engineering experience to advise product and business teams to make better decisions * Mentor the junior developers and take ownership of maintaining high engineering standards and a growth mindset in the team. * Be the point of contact and liaise with the release team on the continuous delivery of high-quality code and the timely resolution of bugs What you bring in * 5+ years of experience in Android development * Strong knowledge of the Android SDK (minimum 5+ years of experience) * Familiarity with RESTful APIs * Sound knowledge of Kotlin and Java programming languages * Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git * Experience with SQL databases * Excellent debugging skills * Fluent in English, in speaking and writing * Experience in working with Agile methodologies It would be great if you also have * Familiarity with other mobile operating systems, like iOS * Firebase tools such as remote config * AB testing, Crashlytics, and user acquisition tools such as Appsflyer * CRM tools such as Clevertap What we offer: We support growth through learning resources, leadership programs, mentoring, and real hands-on work. The Mobile team’s mission is to enable teams to work together effortlessly - even when they are away from their desktops. We partner closely with Product Designers, PMs, and other product engineering teams to continuously improve the Asana experience for our customers on-the-go. What we’ll offer For this role, the estimated base salary range is between 26,000 PLN - 28,900 PLN (gross monthly). The actual base salary will vary based on various factors, including market and individual qualifications objectively assessed during the interview process. In addition to base salary, your compensation package may include additional components such as equity, sales incentive pay (for most sales roles), and benefits.
