At Voyado, we’re building Bonnie — our AI agent and conversational layer across our platform. Bonnie helps users work smarter by understanding intent, remembering context, and taking action across the product. Bonnie is an AI-agent orchestration system built in C#/.NET, powered by OpenAI LLMs through Azure OpenAI. It combines Semantic Kernel, tool calling, domain-specific agents, data retrieval, prompt composition, safety filters, and conversation memory to provide an intelligent assistant inside Voyado Engage As AI continues to reshape how people interact with software, we’re exploring what great AI-powered product experiences should look like. How should AI capabilities be organised? What belongs in backend systems and orchestration? What belongs in the user experience? ABOUT THE ROLE This role sits at the intersection of software engineering, AI adoption, and product development. You’ll help build the foundations that power Bonnie today while shaping the systems, workflows, and capabilities that will enable future AI experiences across Voyado. Bonnie is live, growing fast, and continuously evolving. The roadmap is real, but not every path is fully defined. We’re looking for someone who thrives in that environment, someone who can turn ambiguity into progress and help create structure where none exists yet. IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL: * Evolve the backend architecture behind Bonnie’s AI and agent capabilities. * Build orchestration systems, AI workflows, and platform capabilities that enable scalable AI experiences. * Turn AI experiments into reliable production-ready solutions. * Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and engineers across multiple teams. * Drive technical direction and helping shape how AI capabilities are integrated across the Engage platform. * Work on initiatives similar to AI Segmentation, AI Translation, AI Content generation, MCP and future AI-powered experiences. WHO YOU ARE You’re a senior software engineer with a strong backend foundation and a genuine interest in AI. You don’t need to be an AI researcher, but you have embraced AI as part of your everyday work. Maybe you’ve introduced AI tools to your team, built AI-powered features, or driven AI adoption in some capacity. You enjoy working with a high degree of ownership, partnering closely with product managers, and taking ideas from early concepts all the way to production. * 5+ years of experience building backend systems in production environments. * Strong software engineering fundamentals and architectural thinking. * Experience working with cloud-based systems and services. * Practical experience using AI tools, coding assistants, or AI workflows. * An interest in AI-powered products and how they can create real customer value. * The ability to navigate ambiguity and break down complex problems into actionable steps. * A collaborative mindset and a willingness to share knowledge and help others succeed. Build systems that manage thousands of time nodes in real-world 5G networks Net Insight, are building building Zyntai — a distributed platform that keeps telecom networks precisely synchronized. Today, the system supports roughly 2000 time nodes generating ~500,000 metric points per second, and the scale continues to grow. We’re looking for a Senior Cloud & Backend Engineer who wants to take ownership of complex systems and work close to both product and customers. The role You’ll join our Sync R&D organization (around 15 engineers) and be part of a team of 5 responsible for the backend platform behind Zyntai Director. Your work will include: Building and extending backend services and APIs (Node.js / TypeScript) Designing systems that scale to larger distributed networks Improving performance and reliability in metrics-heavy systems Adding new capabilities such as IPv6 support Investigating customer-reported issues and production bugs Supporting customer PoCs together with Tech Sales Collaborating with product owners on upcoming features Some days focus on feature development. Others on debugging real production issues. Both are core parts of the role. Ownership and responsibilities At Net Insight, there is no separate architecture department. Engineers are expected to take responsibility across the full lifecycle — from design and development to testing, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement. You won’t just implement solutions — you’ll help define them. Tech environment You’ll work in a modern cloud-native environment including: Node.js / TypeScript Kubernetes AWS Distributed systems Observability and metrics-heavy platforms API and networking-related functionality We are also investing heavily in AI-assisted development to improve both engineering workflows and future product capabilities. How we work We use Scrum/Kanban with daily standups and close collaboration across teams. The Sync organization operates like a startup within the company, with tight cooperation between R&D, Product, Sales, and Tech Sales. Engineers are often close to customers, supporting PoCs and helping resolve real-world issues. About you You are likely a senior engineer who enjoys solving complex problems and taking ownership beyond your own code. You probably have experience with: Backend development in production environments Distributed systems and scalability challenges Cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure Designing reliable and maintainable systems Experience with Kubernetes, networking concepts, or large-scale metrics systems is beneficial.
