Nordic Investin has been engaged by a partner company to find a Senior Azure NET Engineer. You see Azure as an engineering environment, not a collection of boxes to tick.
The partner is building integration heavy services that connect internal workflows, customer channels and external platforms. You will design reliable .NET solutions using managed Azure services while keeping security, operability and cost in the conversation from the start.
The environment will suit someone who enjoys building systems, testing assumptions in code and taking responsibility for production behaviour. Technical choices are expected to be explained in terms of maintainability, reliability and the people who use the product.
How you will work
You will work in short delivery cycles with direct access to product, domain and operational colleagues. The partner expects engineers to review designs, test assumptions early and follow important changes into production. Decisions should be recorded clearly enough that another engineer can understand the tradeoff months later.
As a senior colleague, you will own substantial outcomes and help others make stronger decisions. You are expected to recognise risk early, communicate it without drama and move work forward with practical alternatives. The role still includes hands on delivery; seniority here means broader judgement, not distance from the work.
What you will do
Build modern services in C sharp and current NET versions.
Design workflows with Azure Functions, Service Bus and API Management.
Create secure integrations across cloud and enterprise systems.
Model data using relational storage and appropriate Azure services.
Strengthen automated testing, deployment and operational telemetry.
Translate business processes into maintainable technical solutions.
What you will bring
Deep commercial experience with C sharp and NET.
Hands on delivery using Azure integration and compute services.
Strong API design and asynchronous messaging knowledge.
Experience with identity, secrets and cloud security controls.
Comfort with infrastructure as code and CI CD.
Professional English; Swedish is valuable for some partner environments.
Experience that would add value
Logic Apps, Cosmos DB or Event Grid.
Liquid, XSLT or complex message transformation.
Supply chain, warehouse or regulated enterprise systems.
A background that can succeed here
Your experience may come from a product company, consultancy or internal enterprise platform team. You are comfortable crossing the boundary between application code and cloud architecture, and you know where managed services help and where they introduce new constraints.
