STARK is a defence technology company redefining how autonomous and electronic warfare systems are engineered and deployed. We
design, build, and operationalise high-performance electronic warfare and unmanned systems that provide NATO forces with decisive
advantages in contested electromagnetic environments. Our work is grounded in precision, responsibility, and uncompromising
engineering discipline.
You will be the primary architect of resilient, low-probability-of-intercept (LPI) communication links for our next generation of
autonomous platforms. Your mission is to ensure that STARK’s drone fleets maintain command and control integrity even in the most
severe electronic warfare environments. This is a full-stack communications role where you will bridge the gap between low-level
RF hardware and high-level software networking.

⚡️ What We Do Flower is Flexible Power. We are a next-gen energy company leveraging AI and machine learning to make renewable energy stable and always available – even when the sun isn’t shining and the wind isn’t blowing. Through smart optimization and trading of energy assets like wind and solar farms, battery systems, and EV chargers, we make renewable energy reliable and predictable, leading the charge towards the energy system of tomorrow. 🌟 Who We Are Tech company at heart – purpose in our DNA. Flower consists of a diverse group of innovative individuals with a strong desire to improve the state of the world. Our systems run fully automated and dispatch hundreds of MWs of flexible capacity to where the grid or market needs it most. As a Software Engineer, you will join a quant-heavy team of data scientists, optimization engineers and energy market experts. Your focus is the engineering side of these services: architecture, tooling, reliability, system interfaces, observability. This is a hands-on role - you will write code every day and own the standards and foundation the rest of the team builds on. What You'll Do Own the structure and quality of our optimization codebase - architecture, refactoring, testing - and set the engineering bar the team works to Ensure the optimization stack holds up as we scale our portfolio to GW-scale and new geographies Standardize what is currently bespoke, and decide what has to be rebuilt versus hardened Handle reliability and edge cases in the trading path, define graceful failure modes - for example, what should happen when a bid submission fails halfway through? Define interfaces towards other teams and take part in those discussions on behalf of the team Own our optimization environments, infosec hygiene & testing infra across our services Maintain and improve CI, deployments, observability and alerting Who You Are ~ 3–7 years of experience building and running software in production Fluent in Python and related tooling (uv, prek, ruff, ty, FastAPI, Pydantic, DuckDB) Experience managing quantitative models in production (simulation, optimization, heavy batch compute, ML workloads) Experience with AWS (Modal is a plus) Hands-on across the stack, from architecture down to repo settings, pipelines and environments, and the occasional internal frontend Solid instincts for system design and API boundaries, comfortable having these conversations with adjacent teams Pragmatic - you can tell a bad idea from a good one on your own, and you know when good enough is good enough Motivated to work in energy markets & in a trading environment 📍 Location Our beautiful office is located in the heart of Södermalm, just a short walk from Slussen subway station. We encourage in-office collaboration but support a hybrid work model. ✉️ Apply Our corporate language is English, as we have about 30 nationalities in the office. We therefore appreciate it if you could submit your CV in English. Throughout the recruitment process you will meet with the Talent Partner, the Head of Predictions & Asset Optimization, our Product Manager, the Team for a tech assessment and the VP of Engineering. We look forward to hearing from you! —- We kindly but firmly decline any engagement in recruitment assistance for our hiring processes. This includes partnership offers or the sale of recruitment tools.
