The position As a Product Engineer at Cambio, you'll be at the heart of something genuinely new: designing how people connect with healthcare using an AI-first approach. You'll design, build, manage, and evolve our Inhabitant Engagement product from the ground up, working in an autonomous and highly collaborative way alongside our Product team and external stakeholders, all while setting the standard for Cambio's engineering practices. Requirements • Strong hands-on experience across frontend and backend development (code style does not matter). • Deep expertise in AI and applied AI solutions (you have built private and professional products and systems). • Solid systems engineering background — you understand how complex, distributed systems are designed, integrated, and scaled. • Proven experience taking products from concept through to launch and into live operation — you've owned the full lifecycle, not just parts of it. • Comfortable running and maintaining production systems, with a strong sense of reliability, observability, and operational ownership. It's a bonus if you have • Experience working with and optimizing Agentic/robotic or automated systems. In close collaboration with its customers, the company has since evolved into a RegTech provider of digital workflows for Anti-Money Laundering and supplier due diligence. The platform is API-first and delivered as SaaS and PaaS, built for secure and scalable cloud-based services across electronic signing, electronic identification and AML capabilities. About the role and the team As a Senior Fullstack Engineer in the AML domain, you will play a key role in building and evolving Verified’s cloud platform for secure and scalable trust services. You will work across both frontend and backend services running in AWS, contributing to systems that support critical compliance workflows. You will join a high-autonomy, cross-functional team where ownership is shared and the full lifecycle of core services is handled collectively. The team is responsible for designing, building, deploying, and operating services end-to-end, with a strong focus on scalability, security, and time-to-market. Working in an agile environment, you will collaborate closely with product owners, designers, QA, and other engineers to deliver robust and high-quality solutions. Key responsibilities include: Design, develop, and maintain scalable cloud-based systems in AWS Build and evolve REST APIs and modern web applications Contribute to architecture and technical decisions Improve scalability by decoupling dependencies and reducing time-to-market Integrate AI capabilities such as AI agents and RAG into products and workflows Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues Drive engineering quality through code reviews, testing, CI/CD, and best practices Contribute to continuous improvement in architecture and engineering practices About you We believe you are a self-driven fullstack engineer who thrives in high-autonomy environments where you take end-to-end ownership of complex systems. You are comfortable working across the stack in modern cloud-based SaaS products and enjoy building scalable and secure solutions with real business impact. You are curious about how modern technologies, including AI, can be applied both in products and across the development lifecycle. You are comfortable working with technical trade-offs and contributing to improvements in system design, performance, and developer experience. To succeed in this role, we believe you likely bring: 10+ years of experience as a Fullstack Engineer in cloud-based SaaS environments Strong experience working with Node.js, TypeScript, and modern frontend frameworks such as Vue.js Experience building REST APIs and API-first or distributed systems Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS Good understanding of system design, security, and modern application architecture Experience or interest in working with AI tools in development workflows Professional proficiency in English, both written and spoken It is a plus if you also have experience from FinTech/RegTech or other regulated environments, as well as experience integrating third-party data sources.
