Ena veckan bygger du nya radiositer. Nästa vecka felsöker du en sändare efter ett åskoväder. Ibland kör du genom Sverige med servicebilen och ibland flyger du till ett akut uppdrag. Vissa dagar arbetar du från marken. Andra dagar befinner du dig 100 meter upp i en radiomast.
Hos Bauer Media blir du en del av teamet som ansvarar för ett av Sveriges största kommersiella radionät. Varje dag ser du till att miljontals människor kan lyssna på radio och bidrar samtidigt till en samhällsviktig infrastruktur med betydelse för Sveriges civila beredskap.
Nu söker vi fler Field Service Engineers som vill vara med och utveckla vårt rikstäckande sändarnät.
Du blir en del av Bauer Medias Tech-organisation där vi ansvarar för IT, Broadcasting, Distribution och Data. Du arbetar tillsammans med ett erfaret team där ni gemensamt planerar och driver arbetet framåt.
I rollen arbetar du med både planerade installationer, service och underhåll, samtidigt som du ibland behöver rycka ut vid akuta driftstörningar och tekniska problem.
Du kommer att arbeta över hela Sverige, från Ystad i söder till Kiruna i norr. Vissa uppdrag genomför du självständigt medan mastarbeten alltid utförs tillsammans med en kollega.

Vem söker vi?
Vi tror inte att du måste komma från radio- eller broadcastbranschen. Det viktigaste är att du är en skicklig tekniker som tycker om att lösa problem, arbeta praktiskt och vill fortsätta utvecklas. Du kanske arbetar som fälttekniker idag eller har erfarenhet från telekom, fiber, nätverk, elkraft, industri, mobilnät, transmission eller annan teknisk infrastruktur.
Som person tar du egna initiativ, arbetar självständigt och trivs med frihet under ansvar. Samtidigt är du en prestigelös lagspelare som gärna delar med dig av kunskap och hjälper dina kollegor när det behövs. Du uppskattar variation och känner dig lika bekväm med att arbeta ute i regn och snö som att sitta framför datorn och konfigurera teknisk utrustning.
Tidigare klättercertifikat är meriterande men inget krav. Om du är rätt person ser vi till att du får den utbildning som behövs. Däremot behöver du kunna genomföra den medicinska hälsoundersökning som krävs för arbete på hög höjd.

About the role We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer (SSE) for backend works in our product engineering team with systems / services development for the Qbtech platform. Primary implementation languages are Java & Kotlin. The main focus of the work is coding (development) but an SSE works with the entire software delivery lifecycle. The role is based in Stockholm, Sweden and will report to Engineering Manager. There is no possibility of a complete remote role. This is Hybrid with at least 3 days a week from office. Essential Duties and responsibilities Qbtech’s development of products and services are controlled by Qbtech Quality Management Systems, international standards and certificates as well as specific laws. In accordance with those, essential duties and responsibilities are: Develop and document new product features & stories. Code reviews for peers. Maintain and improve legacy code. Manage DevOps and cloud infrastructure provisioning. Manage software deployment. Troubleshooting/investigation of incidents and bug fixing. We are looking for someone who has Extensive development skills using Java and Kotlin. Strong problem-solving mentality. Knowledge of the Ktor framework. Knowledge of at least one well known test framework such as Junit. Good knowledge of network infrastructure related to web application (examples: load balancer, firewall, security groups, CDN etc.). Experience of working with service provisioning for at least one of the following cloud services platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure). Experience of an infrastructure as code (Terraform). Experience with containerization (Docker). Experience from working with Agile development methodologies. Excellent written and verbal skills. At least 6-8 years documented experience.
