Soho House & Co. – Barcelona  Job Purpose The place…  Located in the Gothic Quarter, opposite Port Vell, the House has a private Club for our Members with 56 rooms, a private cinema room, and our signature Cecconi's restaurant.   As a Bartender at Soho House, your role is to deliver excellent service to create memorable experiences for our members and guests. Your main focus is to ensure our drinks service is to the highest standard.  As a team we work to go the extra mile, keeping things simple and showing collaboration, kindness and passion in everything we do.  Main Duties * Providing warm, friendly and efficient service according to our steps of service. * Following our full allergy procedure to ensure the safety of our members, guests and team. * Possessing a strong understanding of drink menus in order to make recommendations, pairings and accommodate specific requests. * Efficiently making all drink orders as per specs and timings. * Ensuring all standard operating procedures are followed and implemented. * Running drinks from the bar to tables when needed. * Verifying the age of guests when needed. * Reporting and resolving any complaints and handling all interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism. Requirements A successful Bartender for Soho House will ideally have up to 2 years’ experience in a busy high-profile venue and a natural flair for first class service. You will have strong knowledge of classic cocktails and have experience preparing cocktails and serving in a fast-paced environment. Whether you’re seeking entry-level employment or a new opportunity to expand your profession, we offer training to develop the technical and managerial skills necessary to enhance your career ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Key duties… * Prepare and serve a wide variety of drinks to a consistently high standard, including cocktails, spirits, wines, beers, and non-alcoholic beverages.  * Engage with members and guests in a warm, professional manner, remembering preferences and delivering a personalised experience.  * Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and organisation of the bar before, during, and after service.  * Assist with stock rotation, inventory, and replenishment of supplies throughout the shift.  * Ensure compliance with licensing, health & safety, and hygiene standards always.  * Contribute to the development of new cocktail menus and seasonal drink offerings in collaboration with the bar team.  * Process orders accurately using the POS system and ensure all billing is completed to club standards.  * Collaborate effectively with the floor team, kitchen, and events department to ensure smooth and seamless service.  * Handle member queries and feedback confidently, escalating any concerns to management as appropriate.  ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- What we are looking for... * 2 -3 years’ experience in similar capacity * Strong cocktail knowledge, including classics, techniques, and spirits.  * Exceptional interpersonal skills and a confident, calm presence during busy services.  * Ability to work efficiently while maintaining high standards and attention to detail.  * Experience working with POS systems, stock control, and basic reporting.  * Team player with a flexible, professional, and positive attitude.  * Fluent in English, both written and spoken.  * Personal License or willingness to obtain one (preferred).    The salary range for this role if filled within the UK is listed below.
