well as streamline various inquiries, risks and other matters that arise. The Overnight Front Desk Agent is responsible for
receiving payments and balancing cash at end of a shift. As a Front Desk Agent, you will be well-versed with the property layout,
briefed on special offers (when applicable), restaurant/F&B options and other amenities but not limited to gym, spa and shared
workspace.
A successful Front Desk Overnight Agent is hospitable by nature, pro-active, capable multi-tasker as well as level-headed,

Whether you’re seeking entry-level employment or a new opportunity to expand your profession, we offer training to develop the technical and managerial skills necessary to enhance your career ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Key duties… * Ensure every member and guest is welcomed warmly and professionally during overnight hours, recognising members by name where possible and creating a calm, reassuring first impression. * Manage incoming phone calls overnight, responding to general enquiries, late-night requests, room-related questions, and messages for members and teams, escalating where appropriate. * Maintain strong knowledge of House operations, including opening hours, amenities available overnight, emergency procedures, and key contact points. * Keep the reception desk and surrounding areas clean, organised, and presentable at all times, ensuring a safe and secure working environment. * Support overnight guest movements, including late arrivals, early departures, and coordinating access to rooms or facilities where required. * Proactively resolve guest queries and concerns in real time, escalating any issues to the Night Manager and ensuring follow-up actions are clearly logged. * Assist guests with lost property, coats, or personal items left at the House, following correct procedures. * Build positive relationships with members and guests, sharing feedback, observations, and any red flags with the Night Manager or day team. * Contribute to a welcoming and positive overnight atmosphere by remaining approachable, calm, and professional at all times. * Support the Night Manager with onboarding and training of new night team members on Soho House standards and overnight service expectations. * Maintain up-to-date knowledge of House events, facilities, and policies to confidently support guests and ensure consistent communication. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- What we are looking for... * 2–3 years’ experience in a front desk role * Experience in luxury hospitality or private members clubs * Strong leadership and team coordination skills * Excellent verbal and written communication * Proficient in reservation systems (e.g., Opera, Open Table, or equivalent) * Calm under pressure and adept at resolving issues with a guest-first mindset The salary range for this role if filled within the UK is listed below. What Success Looks Like: Your Impact * Oversight of the day-to-day night operation of the property including front desk operations, and financial reconciliation and reporting. * Follows all procedures to ensure that all front office tasks meet or exceed the established standards and goals. * Ensures confidentiality of all guest information and pertinent hotel data. * Assists guests, team members, and vendors during their shift. * Maintains a safe and secure environment for guests and team members. What You Bring * Minimum 1 year hospitality experience required, 2-year hotel/clerk experience strongly preferred. * Previous experience in cash handling and computerized Point of Sale system strongly preferred. * Strong written and verbal communication skills required. * Strong problem solving and conflict resolution skills. * Ability to be self-motivated and complete all tasks during the shift. * Ability to understand and apply labor and industry-specific laws and regulations. * Ability to secure property by walking up and down halls to make sure appropriate doors are securely locked. * Must possess basic negotiation skills and strong customer relations skills. * Strong computer skills: Full knowledge of Microsoft Office with an emphasis on Outlook, Excel and Word. What can you expect? The Hotel Base Agent is in a highly visible role, as the first point of contact for guests of the Ski Area arriving to stay at the Sunshine Mountain Lodge. The Base Agent is responsible for welcoming guests and ensuring smooth passage up to the hotel by confirming the details of their reservation and ticket arrangements along with organizing the luggage transfer. The Hotel Base Agent reports to the Hotel Front Desk Supervisor and the Hotel Assistant Manager and liaises frequently with all hotel departments, the warehouse team, and base area departments. This job might be right for you if you think you would really enjoy: * Providing excellent guest service, by answering queries, being courteous, and providing accurate resort information. Engaging in and assessing guest needs and expectations. Administrative and Reporting Responsibilities: * Designated oversight of collecting accurate plans for each guest – check in, check out, ticket requirements, etc. * Scanning and processing pre-purchased tickets and passes. * When required, settling guest hotel charges prior to departure. * Timely and accurate incident reporting and deficiencies reporting to appropriate departments/personnel. * Coordinating the receiving and transfer of luggage up and down from the base to the village area, liaising effectively with the warehouse and Bell Desk team to ensure both timing and service standards are met. * When and as required, coordinating guest arrivals which may necessitate out-of-regular operating hours transfers. * Ensuring the Creekside base hotel check-in area is tidy, organized, and clean, including ensuring the entrance is free of snow, ice, garbage, and items that may impede safe entry and exit. * Other duties may be requested and assigned from time to time. Candidates must be prepared and wear appropriate footwear, gloves, layers, etc. for the conditions of an indoor role at a ski area.
