Solutions Architect Adyen is looking for a Solutions Architect with a solid understanding of and hands-on experience with technology, integration design, project management and a strong merchant focus. As an implementation consultant, you will be the primary point of contact for our merchant's technical teams, guiding them through the design, development, testing, and launch phases of their integrations with Adyen's platform. Your focus will be on ensuring an exceptional merchant experience throughout the project lifecycle.  In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on diverse projects that encompass various payment solutions, including e-commerce platforms, marketplaces, and card issuing programs. By leveraging your technical proficiency and business acumen, you will play a vital role in guaranteeing a smooth implementation process and maintaining open lines of communication with our merchants and internal teams. This position is based in our Brazil office, and the ideal candidate is both consultative and technical. What you'll do: * Utilize development and programming expertise to create scalable and robust solutions for merchant integrations, while ensuring adherence to payment best practices. * Serve as a consultative partner in specific verticals such as e-commerce, point of sale, and multi-faceted platforms, guiding merchants through integration processes. * Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Account Managers, Product, and Engineering teams to deliver seamless merchant experiences and drive continuous improvements. * Leverage project management and technical consulting skills to oversee high-quality project delivery, guaranteeing the technical integrity of merchant integrations. * Provide consultation on optimizing payment solutions, including checkout experiences, authentication, omni-channel payments, and platform onboarding, while collaborating with Developers and Product Managers to enhance the platform. Who you are: * C1 level proficiency in Portuguese and English is required for this position. * 5+ years of technical consultative experience, providing guidance and recommendations for clients integrating Web API solutions. Experience in payments is a plus. * Proven ability to quickly learn new technologies, understand complex systems (APIs, databases, SDK's, etc.), and desire to improve technical acumen. * Excellent communication skills; comfortable leading discussion with different audiences, e.g. development team, non-technical stakeholders and leadership.  * Ability to understand how different systems work together within a larger software environment. If you’re excited by the idea of limitless growth and fast-paced challenges, this is a unique opportunity to accelerate your career as you help shape the future of Stacks. 🧱 WHAT YOU'LL DO * Product Implementation & Onboarding: Lead the technical implementation of Stacks for new customers and new product features/modules, including configuring the environment, executing system tests, assisting with UAT, and providing cutover and hypercare support to ensure they are fully onboarded and proficient in using Stacks. * Customer Solutions & Support: Leverage technical knowledge to advise customers on best practices, translate accounting business problems into solutions using Stacks, and work with the Engineering team to diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve complex technical issues during and after deployment. * Process Improvement & Automation: Drive function building and process improvements to establish smoother, more efficient operational workflows between Customer Success and Engineering. Develop internal tools and automation scripts (light scripting/coding) to streamline customer implementations and scale operational efficiency. * Documentation & Self-Service: Develop and refine Stacks' documentation hub by updating existing content, creating new documentation, and adding materials that support improved client self-service. * Product Improvement: Drive continuous product improvement by capturing and structuring customer feedback, collaborating directly with Product and Engineering to articulate clear problem statements, and influencing the prioritisation of future development. 🧩 WHAT YOU NEED * Project Management: Experience managing software implementation projects (3+ years) in a SaaS environment, either as an internal lead for process improvement initiatives or as an external consultant managing client implementations. * ERP Expertise: Deep, hands-on experience using Accounting ERPs as a power user (Accountant or ERP Administrator) or as an external Consultant who has supported client implementations and improvements. Experience with NetSuite and Microsoft Dynamics 365 is a plus. * Technical Proficiency: Can understand and explain complex systems to customers, and can self-solve technical problems encountered by customers. Experience with SQL is a plus, as is a basic understanding of software development principles and the ability to create simple solutions using basic scripts (e.g. Python, Node JS). * Accounting Domain Knowledge & Customer-Facing Confidence: You possess strong familiarity with accounting, ideally as a CPA or someone experienced with the month-end close and reporting.
