Events Manager, Internal Events About the Role As Events Manager, Internal Events, you will lead the strategy, planning, and execution of Veeam Launchpad (VL), Veeam’s annual global sales kickoff attended by approximately 2,000 employees in person and 3,000 virtually. This highly visible, business-critical event aligns and energizes Veeam’s global sales organization for the year ahead. As part of the Global Events team, you’ll also contribute to Veeam Experience (VX), our incentive event for top performers, and Veeam Quotient (VQ), our leadership summit. This role is ideal for a strategic event leader who thrives in fast-paced environments, enjoys building memorable attendee experiences, and excels at managing complex programs with executive visibility. ***Strong location preference for CT or ET.*** What You'll Do * Lead end-to-end planning and execution of Veeam Launchpad (VL), including strategy, budgeting, logistics, production, vendor management, and onsite delivery. * Develop engaging event experiences that drive alignment, energy, connection, and business outcomes. * Translate business objectives into compelling event narratives, content strategies, and attendee journeys. * Manage agencies, vendors, and cross-functional teams to ensure projects stay on schedule and within budget. * Serve as a trusted partner to senior leaders and stakeholders across Sales, HR, Marketing, Corporate Communications, Creative, and Executive Leadership. * Drive project governance, timelines, risk management, and decision-making across multiple workstreams. * Define event success metrics, measure results, and develop recommendations for continuous improvement. * Contribute as a workstream lead for VX and VQ, helping deliver exceptional experiences for top performers and executive leaders. * Continually identify opportunities to improve processes, innovate event formats, and leverage AI to increase efficiency. What You'll Bring * 6+ years of experience in event marketing, event production, or event management. * Experience leading large-scale internal events, ideally with audiences of 1,000+ attendees. * Strong expertise across event strategy, production, logistics, content planning, attendee communications, and experiential design. * Proven ability to manage budgets, agencies, vendors, and complex cross-functional projects. * Exceptional organizational and project management skills with strong attention to detail. * Ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels of an organization, including executive stakeholders. * Strong communication skills with the ability to align teams and drive accountability. * A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with the ability to anticipate challenges and adapt quickly. * Experience using AI tools to improve productivity, planning, and execution. * Willingness to travel up to 30% domestically and internationally.
