We embrace our employees’ differences and acknowledge and support our collective responsibility.   About the Position The Retail Sales Associate interacts and assists customers, donors and others with merchandise selection, suggestion selling, and cashiering in a courteous and professional manner.   Pay Rate: $17.13-19.00/hour DOE   Essential Functions and Responsibilities: Other duties, responsibilities, and activities may change or be assigned at any time with or without notice. * Proactively acknowledge, greet and help customers in any area of the store. * Assist customers/donors in a timely and courteous manner by answering questions or directing them to a supervisor. * Handle cash, checks, and credit card transactions, closing out cash drawer and balancing all point of sale (POS) transactions. * Able to communicate through standard telephone and wireless audio systems. * Merchandise, restock and provide general floor maintenance where needed. * Maintain a clean work environment. * Support team members, assist supervisors and leads when necessary. * Build and maintain internal and external customer satisfaction. * Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. * Demonstrate safe work practices through awareness and observation in support of a safety culture; reports any potential hazards or accidents. * Perform other duties as assigned. We have fun, grow together, and strive to leave a positive lasting impression on everyone we meet.   What Success Looks Like: Your Impact * Possess sufficient knowledge of the golf course to meaningfully communicate with golf players regarding the layout and constitution of the course, the location of rest stops/restrooms  and local rules that may apply * Possess sufficient inventory product knowledge and sales skills to stimulate merchandise sales at specified profit margins as set by the supervisor * Maintain an awareness of all promotions and advertisements * Safely and accurately operate a point-of-sale (POS) system and conduct transactions per our cash handling procedures manual * Maintain orderly appearance of register area and keep supplies stocked * If applicable, safely and accurately operate reservation system hardware and software * Protect the organization, members and guests by adhering to safety guidelines and communicating emergency information in a calm, clear and professional manner * Perform the necessary actions to remove persons engaging in unauthorized facility use * Handle member/guest service issues in a prompt and effective manner, notifying supervisor of member/guest concerns * Accurately and efficiently ring on registers and accurately maintain all cash and media at the registers   * Communicate member and guest requests to management  What You Bring * Ability to communicate effectively with members, co-workers and management * Ability to operate golf carts and/or people movers (if applicable) * Ability to operate computers, keyboards and interfaces * Ability to communicate clearly on telephones and two-way radios * Written acknowledgment of comprehensive understanding of the cash handling and transaction procedures    Don’t meet every single requirement?
