📈 Who We Are: We are rebuilding the energy transaction, making it transparent and fair. Our goal is to put power back where it belongs, in the hands of customers and to take on one of the most critical problems of our century, access to low cost electricity. tem exists to fix a broken global energy market that’s long favoured legacy operators, intermediaries, and opaque pricing. Today’s electricity system was not designed for rapid decarbonisation, AI-driven efficiency or fair access for the actual users - businesses and generators. We’ve built the first AI native transaction infrastructure to reinvent how electricity is bought, sold and priced. Our technology is designed to cut out the inefficient fees, automate complex market flows, and bring transparency and fairness to energy transactions at scale. In late 2025, after extraordinary growth, we closed a $75 million Series B - led by Lightspeed Venture Partners with participation from Albion, Atomico, Allianz, Hitachi Ventures, Hitachi Ventures, Schroders Capital and others - positioning us for global expansion, deeper product innovation and category leadership. We’re scaling internationally and building toward a future where AI-driven infrastructure is foundational to electricity markets worldwide. Since launch, our modern utility product, known as RED, has already facilitated thousands of business customers and billions in energy transaction value, proving that modern software and AI can transform an industry built on legacy systems. At tem, we’re not just building another energy company, we’re rearchitecting market infrastructure so that transparency, efficiency and sustainability become the default, not the exception. 🏅 THE ROLE: We’re looking for Senior Full Stack Engineers to design and build the systems that power tem's core products and internal platforms. We’re hiring across several teams - including Developer Experience, Billing & Payments, Buy-Side Growth, Sell-Side Growth, and Pricing Infrastructure - all of which play a critical role in how we deliver seamless, modern energy technology. As a Senior Engineer, you’ll help shape the architecture and build the features that enable brokers, customers, and internal teams to work smarter and faster. Depending on your team, this could mean anything from enhancing developer tooling and shared services, to building scalable billing and payments infrastructure, to delivering intuitive customer-facing experiences that support acquisition and retention. In your first 12 months, you might: * Lead development of customer- and broker-facing portals that make complex energy workflows simple. * Build and evolve billing and payments systems that are reliable, transparent, and ready for scale. * Improve developer experience and platform foundations - including tooling, CI/CD, shared services, and automation. * Streamline internal operations through intelligent workflows, dashboards, and integrations. Across all teams, you’ll be joining a group that values ownership, clarity, and impact - and you’ll play a key role in building the systems that enable us to grow rapidly and serve customers exceptionally well. 🚀 RESPONSIBILITIES: * Build with impact: Develop full-stack features across modern front-end frameworks and serverless back-end systems, with a focus on performance, reliability, and usability. * Shape the experience: Build intuitive, high-quality interfaces and tools that improve the way customers and brokers interact with our platform. * Improve how we ship: Contribute to internal tooling, frameworks, and engineering workflows that help us deliver faster and with greater confidence. * Collaborate cross-functionally: Partner with Product, Design, and other Engineers to design thoughtful, user-centred solutions to complex problems. * Maintain high standards: Write clean, well-tested code, contribute to code reviews, and help improve team practices and documentation. 🎯 REQUIREMENTS: Must-Haves: * Proven product delivery experience: Experience as a Full Stack Engineer in a startup or fast-paced product environment, with ownership of key projects from start to finish. * Front- and back-end fluency: Strong experience with Python and/or Node.js, and modern JavaScript frameworks like React. * Cloud-native skills: Experience working with AWS services, especially serverless tools like Lambda, API Gateway, and DynamoDB. * User-focused mindset: Comfortable turning product and user problems into simple, elegant technical solutions. * Team-first approach: Experience working in cross-functional teams where Engineers, Designers, and Product Managers collaborate closely. Desirable: * Experience building platforms or tools for brokers, sales partners, or operational teams. * Exposure to the energy sector or other regulated industries. * Familiarity with real-time data systems or internal workflow automation. ✨ BENEFITS & PERKS: * Competitive salary - our current band for this role is £82,700 or equivalent in local currency. * We review salaries twice a year using real-time market data, with transparent, consistent pay for the same role and level. * Stock Options - everyone on the team has ownership in our mission. * 25 days holiday + public holidays - Swap public holidays for ones that matter most to you. Plus, get an extra day off for your birthday 🎉. * Remote & flexible working - We’re fully remote, distributed across Europe with clear core hours, and no internal meetings on Friday afternoons. * Home working & wellbeing budgets: * Up to £1,200 / €1,200 annually to upgrade your remote setup (co-working passes, equipment, etc.). * Up to £150 / €150 monthly on anything that supports your wellbeing - from therapy to gym memberships to meditation apps. 🗣️ INTERVIEW PROCESS: Our processes normally take around 2-3 weeks from first call to offer - please let us know about any adjustments to timelines that may be required. 1. First call with our Talent Team (30 Mins). This is to understand your experience, motivations, and discuss the role in more detail. 2. Behaviour Interview with our Engineering Managers (60 Mins). This is your chance to really understand the role, the expectations, and ensure alignment on ways of working. 3. Technical Interview with the Team (90 Mins). You’ll meet with potential peers in this session and will discuss technical topics and experiences. 4. Culture-Add Interview with Stakeholders (45 Mins). The final session will be with two cross-functional stakeholders, and will explore how your values align with ours, and is designed to be a genuine two-way conversation, your chance to understand what it’s really like to work at tem. We welcome applications from people of all backgrounds, experiences, and identities, including those that are traditionally underrepresented in the tech and energy sectors. If you’re excited about this role but not sure you meet every requirement, we’d still love to hear from you. Your unique perspective could be exactly what we’re looking for.

THE ROLE: We’re looking for a Full-Stack Engineer to join our GTM (Go To Market) Activation team - a cross-functional group focused on increasing signup, integration, trial usage, and time-to-value for new users. Your job is to work at the intersection of engineering, growth, and product, building everything from onboarding flows and self-serve dashboards to usage analytics, activation nudges, and backend services that guide users toward value - faster. This team sits at the heart of our Go-To-Market engine. You’ll directly influence conversion and retention by reducing friction and turning passive signups into active users. We’re a remote-first company with a fast-paced, high-impact culture. In this role, you’ll work closely with our CEO, Aurken, and our Director of Engineering. And as a business with two technical founders who have strong engineering backgrounds - you must be comfortable engaging in technical discussions while balancing business needs. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 🚀 Build for Growth * Ship full-stack features across the activation funnel: onboarding UI, guides, wizards, checklists, in-app messaging, and dashboards. Our tech stack: Laravel, Vue * Own backend services and APIs that support analytics, tracking user progress, and onboarding personalization. * Build self-serve capabilities (API explorers, data previews, sandbox flows) that increase integration rates. 📊 Data & Instrumentation * Implement robust event tracking using tools like Segment, Amplitude, BigQuery, and PostHog. * Collaborate with Product and Growth to define and instrument key activation metrics. * Work with analysts to surface insights and user segments for better targeting. 🧪 Experimentation & Optimization * Run A/B tests and iterative experiments to improve signup, activation, and trial conversion. * Based on usage data, build and test UX variations, email triggers, and behavioral nudges. * Instrument cohort-based analysis to identify drop-offs and quick wins. 🤝 Cross-Functional Collaboration * Partner with Product, Marketing, Sales, and Support to identify blockers and opportunities across the funnel. * Act as a technical bridge between user-facing teams and the internal analytics tools. * Help craft a frictionless developer experience from signup to first value. 🛠 Engineering Best Practices * Write clean, maintainable, and performant full-stack code. * Ensure smooth deployment and observability of new features (logs, alerts, error tracking). * Maintain high standards for privacy, compliance, and security. THE PERSON: We’re looking for a builder obsessed with user onboarding, experimentation, and removing friction. You’re a data-driven engineer who understands product goals and loves seeing your work directly impact metrics that matter. KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: * Have +5 years of experience as a Full-Stack/Product Engineer, ideally with exposure to growth or product engineering. * Have experience with modern frontend and backend development using React (or similar frameworks). * Understand SaaS funnels - signup, onboarding, usage, activation, conversion. * Have implemented behavioral analytics, event tracking, and activation dashboards. * Have worked with tools like Amplitude, Segment, BigQuery, or PostHog. * Are familiar with A/B testing tools and statistical analysis of experiments. * Know how to balance speed with tech debt, and can ship fast while keeping things clean. * Enjoy owning metrics and being measured by impact, not lines of code. * Communicate clearly with product, growth, and marketing teams - and thrive on feedback. * Have a strong design sensibility with experience creating polished, customer-facing interfaces that reflect brand values and marketing goals. Bonus Points If You * Have worked on activation or conversion at a B2B SaaS or API-based startup. * Can explain concepts like time-to-value, North Star metrics, or growth loops. * Have experience improving self-serve flows in technical products (developer-facing tools, APIs, dashboards). * Have worked closely with design and marketing teams to implement customer-facing solutions that drive conversion. * Demonstrate attention to detail with a portfolio that showcases pixel-perfect implementation of designs. AGILE & PROCESS-DRIVEN MINDSET * You optimize workflows, reduce bottlenecks, and improve efficiency without overcomplicating processes. * You understand the Pareto principle (80/20 rule) and prioritize high-impact work over perfection. * You are used to working with multidisciplinary teams and balancing engineering, business, and product needs. STRONG PRODUCT & BUSINESS AWARENESS * You have world-class product sense and can prioritize engineering efforts based on business impact. TRANSPARENCY & COLLABORATION * You thrive in open, honest communication and ensure visibility across teams. * You can handle strong opinions from technical founders and have the guts to say no when needed, while gathering input from multiple stakeholders. * Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. WHAT MAKES THIS DIFFERENT * Full ownership. You'll own systems end-to-end — design, deployment, and operations. No handoffs to an ops team, no waiting for someone else to ship your work * Direct impact. The systems you build directly affect customer SLAs, billing accuracy, and the core product success rate. You'll feel it * No layers. You'll work closely with our CEO and Director of Engineering — both technically deep — without three layers of management in between * No methodology theater. We skip the ceremony and give you a horizontal view of the problem. You decide where you can have the most impact WHY YOU WILL LOVE WORKING HERE… * Our people crave ownership and opportunity over everything else. We offer responsibility and scope to do things in your role that you can only dream of in similar roles in larger companies. * We have a CEO who values world-class talent over everything else. Trust and respect are earned, and with them come reward and recognition like nowhere else. * In a world where it feels like everyone is being called back to being in an office, we operate a truly 100% remote approach that allows you to work from anywhere you choose. Forget Agile, Scrum, Lean... or whatever development methodology is trendy this week. We give you a horizontal view that enables you to identify where you think you can contribute the most. We have fun! The above may sound like we are all about work, but we put a lot of focus on ensuring our culture is one that our people enjoy, which lets you build lasting friendships and grow both personally and professionally. Privacy and Your Data At ZenRows, we prioritize the privacy and security of data entrusted to us. We are committed to complying with all applicable data protection regulations and industry best practices. As part of our team, you will contribute to creating and maintaining systems that uphold the highest data integrity, confidentiality, and transparency standards. Your role will help ensure that we continue to protect sensitive information, foster trust with our customers, and support a privacy-first culture across our organization. Any job offer we may make to you will be subject to your successfully passing background checks.
