As a Local ITM & Continuous Improvement Leader at Hitachi Energy in Figeholm, you will play a key role in driving sustainable improvements and change initiatives across the factory’s entire value chain. The position focuses on developing the maturity of the Integrated Transformer Management System (ITM) and Continuous Improvement, with a clear connection to improvements in Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory, and Cost.
You will work closely with factory management and cross-functional teams to turn strategy into practical actions, strengthen daily management, and help create a culture where continuous improvement is a natural part of how the business operates.

How You Will Make an Impact
Drive and support the implementation of the ITM system and help increase Continuous Improvement maturity within the factory.
Work with factory management and cross-functional teams to develop and implement Strategy Deployment, Operations Center/Obeya, KPIs, and improvement plans.
Improve daily management, Factory Standard Work, and an integrated improvement management system.
Drive improvements related to Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory, and Cost, while contributing to cost reduction and productivity improvements.
Create, lead, and follow up on improvement projects and ensure results are sustained over time.
Train, coach, and develop employees and leaders in ITM tools, methods, and problem-solving techniques to build local capability and ownership.
Report directly to the Factory Manager and play a key role in supporting the management team with strategy execution, business development, and continuous improvement.
Your Background
Proven experience in Continuous Improvement, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment, with 5+ years being an advantage.
Documented success in leading change management initiatives and driving engagement across teams and functions.
Knowledge of Lean and ITM tools such as 5S, Daily Management, Leader Standard Work, Practical Problem Solving, Value Stream Mapping, and Kaizen.
Lean Leader, Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, or Agile/Scrum certifications are considered an advantage.
Excellent communication, coaching, and training skills, with the ability to inspire and develop others.
Good command of English (minimum B2 level); Swedish language skills are beneficial in the local environment.
Structured and analytical mindset, with the ability to translate strategy and KPIs into practical actions and measurable business results.

YOUR MISSION The Director of Business Programs, based at the Paris Campus, will provide academic leadership for Schiller International University’s undergraduate and graduate Business programs across all campuses. The Director will be responsible for ensuring academic excellence, curriculum quality, faculty performance, and student success within the Business discipline. In addition, the Director will provide Academic Leadership at the Paris Campus for all academic programs. The role encompasses the oversight of program design, curriculum development, course content, syllabi, assessment, and continuous improvement processes, ensuring compliance with U.S. accreditation standards, local regulatory requirements, and dual-degree partner expectations. The Director will work closely with academic leaders across campuses to recruit, develop, evaluate, and support faculty teaching Business courses, ensuring consistency in academic standards and learning outcomes throughout the institution. In collaboration with Associate Deans, Directors from other academic areas, and the Paris Campus Director, the Director of Business Programs will prove academic leadership for the Paris Campus and oversee faculty hiring and management, course allocations and academic operation. The successful candidate will work closely with faculty, Academic Services, Career Services, Student Affairs, and other university stakeholders to foster student engagement, enhance employability, and deliver a transformative, student-centered educational experience aligned with Schiller’s experiential and challenge-based learning model. TASKS AND RESPONSABILITIES * Lead business programs design, review, and continuous improvement in collaboration with Academic team and other university offices. * Participate in the review and assessment of program and course learning outcomes for business and other academic areas. * Engage actively in innovation within the area(s) of knowledge to update teaching and learning methodologies and educational technology in collaboration with the Educational Technology team and industry professionals. * Assess instructional needs and lead the recruitment of business faculty across campuses. * Collaborate with academic leaders on other campuses to identify, hire and assign qualified faculty to all business courses and all courses on the Paris campus in a timely manner. * Participate in the evaluation of faculty members in annual performance evaluations. * Conduct course observations as needed, both online and onsite. * Collaborate with the Educational Technology team to offer faculty development activities. * Collaborate with Dean of Institutional Effectiveness to ensure program quality and compliance with all regulations and accreditation requirements. * Coordinate with the Director of Student Services to identify students at risk and work with faculty to support their retention and success. * Collaborate with Employability team and devise and implement measures and initiatives to boost students’ employability and student success. * Coordinate the effective implementation of VLE templates and uniform content within Business offerings. * Manage faculty workload and faculty assignment in collaboration with the other academic leaders. * Any other duties assigned by the Provost, President or Campus Director.
