We at A-hub are currently looking for an Electrical Engineer for an exciting consulting assignment within Research & Development. You will be working on-site at one of our clients in Örebro – a global technology company operating at the forefront of electrification, automation, and advanced mobile machinery.

About the assignment
You will be part of a highly skilled and collaborative R&D team working with advanced mobile machines, electric drivetrains, and sophisticated control systems.
In this role, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and adapting electrical systems, including hardware, software, system architecture, and functionality. The goal is to ensure that systems meet requirements related to performance, availability, and safety.
The systems you will work with span a voltage range from 24VDC up to 800VDC and involve real-time control system software.
Development and adaptation of electrical systems (hardware, software, and architecture)
Working in development projects, product maintenance, and customer-driven adaptations
Designing solutions based on functional requirements
Specifying and developing systems and components together with sub-suppliers
Verifying and validating system performance
The work is carried out in project form and involves close collaboration with internal functions such as service, purchasing, and marketing, as well as global interaction with customers and suppliers.
Your profile
A university degree in Electrical Engineering or Electronics Engineering
Several years of experience working with electrical systems, control systems, or similar advanced engineering areas
Experience in electronic hardware design and/or programming is considered a merit
Self-driven and responsible
Structured and analytical in your approach
Comfortable working from concept through to final product
Motivated by combining theoretical understanding with practical application
You are a team player with strong interpersonal skills and enjoy working in a collaborative environment where communication is key. Since the role includes both local and global contacts, you need to be fluent in English, both spoken and written. Swedish is considered an advantage.
About the consulting role
This is a consulting assignment where you will be employed by A-hub and work on-site with our client in Örebro. The assignment is long-term, with good possibilities for extension or permanent employment with the client over time.

Objective of the position Help us build the test systems behind safer, smarter vehicles. At Stoneridge in Örebro, our Production Engineering team makes sure every product that leaves the line performs exactly as it should. As our new Test Engineer, you'll own the test solutions for new product introductions — designing them from the ground up — and continuously sharpen the tests already running in production. Your work directly shapes the quality, reliability and efficiency of technologies that go into commercial vehicles around the world. You'll report to the Production Engineering Manager and work alongside a hands-on, cross-functional team that values curiosity and ownership. What you'll do Design and build production test software, methods and equipment for both new products and existing lines. Specify, procure, install and validate new test systems — and keep current ones running at their best. Be the go-to expert for production teams when test challenges, product changes or process changes come up. Build and evaluate prototypes, giving the development team clear feedback to improve quality and manufacturability. Own the documentation — test procedures, verification and training that keep knowledge in the team. Drive the numbers that matter: test yield, downtime and PPM, and support quotations and approval workflows. What you bring BSc/MSc in Electronics (or equivalent experience) with 5+ years in test engineering, production or industrialization — automotive preferred. Strong electronics fundamentals — you can read and create electrical schematics. Experience with vision systems (Cognex VisionPro, AVT or similar). Proficiency in graphical programming tools such as LabVIEW or Keysight VEE. Solid grasp of statistics (Cpk, standard deviation); Six Sigma Green Belt is an advantage. Professional level of Swedish and English. Bonus skills: Minitab, C# and CAN protocols.
