YOUR IMPACT We are looking for a Senior AI Engineer to join the Customer Care Contact team in the Business Performance domain. Your mission will be to build AI-powered tools that revolutionize how healthcare professionals deliver care. You will work on Doctolib Assistant, our AI personal assistant designed to assist doctors and medical staff in their daily work—from answering complex medical questions to automating administrative tasks with accuracy, reliability, and safety. Working in the tech team at Doctolib means building innovative products and features to improve the daily lives of care teams and patients. WHAT YOU'LL BUILD Your responsibilities include but are not limited to: * Design, ship, and operate production-grade agentic systems powering Doctolib Assistant, our AI personal assistant that addresses key challenges for healthcare professionals * Build and improve AI agents and our orchestration systems * Partner with data scientists to design and implement evaluation pipelines, security/safety guardrails, and metrics—while taking ownership of operational AI projects as data science teams focus on exploratory research * Develop and maintain core agentic capabilities including memory, reasoning orchestration, tool adapters, and multi-agent coordination, ensuring strong observability, fallback mechanisms, and fail-safe behaviors * Own performance, observability and security: monitoring dashboards, SLO/SLI, and security posture * Ensure privacy and security by design, with a particular focus on medical data sensitivity * Contribute to fullstack development when needed to deliver end-to-end features for healthcare professionals WHAT YOU'LL BRING Before you read on: if you don't have the exact profile described below, but you feel this job description matches your skill set, we still encourage you to apply. Doctolib is looking for a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to keep Doctolib production database systems running smoothly. You will also be a key-player to support the exponential growth of Doctolib services. WHAT YOU WILL DO You will join a team of developers, DBA and SRE responsible for: * Improving and protecting the health of our datastores, * Empowering the whole tech teams to use our datastores in the most efficient way, * Collaborating everyday with our Database Architects, Principal Engineers and Site Reliability Engineers from other teams. As a Senior Site Reliability Engineer in our Doctolib Database Optimization team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, availability, and performance of our databases.
