Position Summary The Home Care Attendant assists clients with the activities of daily living to promote maximum independence; provides personal care and performs housekeeping and home management activities. This is a Permanent Part-Time position with guaranteed 25 hours a week. Roles & Responsibilities * Provides personal care to clients including bathing, toileting, dressing, oral hygiene, and hair care * Performs simple treatments, including non-sterile dressing changes * Supervises, monitors and reminds client of daily activities, including assisting with medication as ordered; records medication and treatment in communication book * Observes the behavior, appearance and condition of the client/family, and reports changes to the Home Care Nurse/Supervisor, in order to maintain safe and supportive care of the client in his/her own home * Assists with the preparation of healthy meals; encourages and assists the client to eat where required * Performs lifts and transfers * Assists the client to maintain a healthy environment in the home, i.e. cleanliness and safety, where required * Maintains strict confidentiality of information gained during the course of duties * Provides written reports as required * Attends training and development, and staff meetings as required * Performs other related duties as required KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES * Skill and knowledge usually attained by successful completion of Secondary School, and a certificate as Home Care Support Worker from a recognized educational facility or an equivalent combination of skill, knowledge and experience * Valid First Aid Certificate, covering infants and adults * Valid CPR Level 1 Certificate, covering infants and adults * Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing * Ability to organize work effectively using time management skills * Physical ability to perform the duties of the job * Understanding of geriatric issues and behavior * Ability to maintain strict confidentiality * Ability to operate related equipment * Successful Criminal Record Check Working Conditions * Work is mostly performed in the client’s home Why work for Musqueam? What You’ll Do * Operating Laundry Equipment: Operating and maintaining laundry equipment to ensure the cleanliness of uniforms, towels, sheets, and linens. * Processing Laundry: Efficiently loading and unloading industrial washing machines and dryers, sorting, pressing, and folding linens with precision, processing and folding towels to meet the club's exacting standards, pressing uniforms to uphold a polished appearance. * Upkeeping Laundry Equipment: Changing product drums as needed for optimal machine performance. * Delivering Laundry: Loading and unloading the laundry truck for efficient delivery and pickup. * Performing Upkeep Tasks: Conducting towel inventory with attention to detail. * Other duties as assigned. What You’ll Bring * Experience: Previous experience in a high-production laundry facility or a similar role is preferred. High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required. * Equipment Proficiency: Ability to operate all laundry equipment effectively. * Communication & Listening Skills: Strong communication skills with the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with supervisors and staff, capability to follow directions and work with limited supervision. * Flexible Schedule: Availability to work irregular hours, including holidays and weekends, to meet the dynamic needs of our club. * Driver’s License: A valid driver's license with an insurable driving record is required for candidates handling laundry truck duties. * Physical Requirements: * * Frequent standing and walking. * Regularly bending, stooping, kneeling, or reaching to inspect, clean, or restock supplies and materials. * Occasionally lifting and carrying supplies or equipment weighing up to 50 pounds. * Operating housekeeping equipment such as laundry machinery. * Performing repetitive movements, including folding linens, handling cleaning tools, and using inventory management devices. * Occasionally climbing stairs or using ladders to address high or hard-to-reach areas. * Maintaining physical stamina for extended shifts, particularly during peak operational times or events. Job Summary The Mold Set Up Technician (hiring title: Manufacturing Engineer Technician I) is responsible for set up, heat up, start up, material handling, operating, quality control, troubleshooting, changeovers and adjusting process settings for plastic injection molding presses and related equipment per set up sheet in the plant. Ongoing training is required in this role and will include: Arburg machines, Wittmann central material preparation, optical measuring system, quality requirements, Hydra Software and other training as determined. Off-site training and travel may also be required on occasion. Responsibilities * Responsible for set up, heat up, start up, operating, troubleshooting, and adjusting process settings for plastic injection molding presses and related equipment per set up sheet in the plant. * Demonstrate problem solving and strong troubleshooting skills supporting injection molding process. * Train and assist shift personnel, machine operator, etc. * Assist maintenance with troubleshooting and equipment repair as directed. * Provide analysis, spreadsheets related to molds and injection molding processes. * Experience in mold care, repair, installation & removal of molds. * Ability to perform cavity/core changeovers, maintenance of all mold tooling in the department. * Perform preventive maintenance on molding equipment (hopper, dryer, TCU, conveyor) and molds. * Ability to oversee, monitor and perform all operations for the entire plastics injection molding department on his/hers shift. * Ensures safety and housekeeping standards are maintained. * Works on and feel safe working on and handling tools up to 2 tons. * Assists and trains others in job as needed. * Responsible for area cleanliness and organization according to workplace standards. * Performs related duties as assigned by supervisor. * Follows procedures associated with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and OSHAS 18001. * Follows necessary PPE Requirements for a given work center. Qualifications * Associate Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Technology is preferred. * 5+ years experience with injection molding is preferred. * Injection molding troubleshooting skills is required. * Working knowledge of plastic injection molding process, plastics is required. * PC and Windows based software experience including Microsoft Office products. * Able to read and understand engineering drawings. * Ability to communicate and work with others effectively. * Ability to work independently and effectively perform with limited supervision. * Consistently demonstrate a positive attitude toward all aspects of work. * Remains adaptable and open to change. * Applies effort and energy to lifelong learning and strive to continually grow. * Embraces change if it will provide future benefits.
