Product Management, driving adoption and revenue growth for Phoenix Contact’s Industrial Ethernet portfolio. Leveraging deep
product and application expertise, this role identifies, develops, and converts sales opportunities into high-value,
product-aligned solutions, influencing specification decisions and delivering measurable business outcomes.
The Senior AE leads complex customer engagements centered on the application, positioning, and integration of Industrial Ethernet
products, including network system architecture design, solution development, and advanced troubleshooting. This role is primarily
focused on pre-sales engineering of customer network solutions, delivering product-centric training on network technologies and
industry applications, and providing Level 3/4 technical support across the networking portfolio managed by the U.S.
organization. Additionally, this position plays a critical role in advancing Phoenix Contact’s industrial networking and critical
infrastructure product strategy by enabling internal and external stakeholders—including sales teams, channel partners, and
customers—while supporting the broader ecosystem of aligned technologies (e.g., cloud platforms, software solutions, and
integration partners). Operating with a high degree of independence, the Senior AE also serves as the voice of the customer,
providing actionable market and application insights to Product Management to help shape product roadmap decisions, portfolio
positioning, and go-to-market strategies.

Summary The Senior Project Engineer I – Control Panels is responsible for control cabinet design tasks, Making and or Coordinating Changes internally or with vendors (Vendor Liaison), and Project Management tasks. The Sr. Project Engineer I will be responsible for qualifying vendors and assisting startup of new projects making sure the vendors are capable and have the right equipment and systems to manufacture, perform end-of-line testing and ensuring appropriate packaging equipment. This position is an individual contributor role and does not include formal people management responsibilities. Please note, the title upon hire for this role is Senior Design Engineer I. Responsibilities * Project Management for new and change projects both Internal and with Suppliers * Manage complex process, quality, supplier, manufacturing, and component problems * Analyze pricing issues, suggest ways to reduce costs * Control panel design (component selection, enclosure selection, environmental and thermal analysis, power, I/O wiring, and adherence to regulatory standards). * Designs and documents enclosure modifications and custom mechanical components. * Creates quotations for control panels, including labor estimation. * Specifies packaging to eliminate shipping damage. * Performs product changes (drawing, product, BOM changes). * Creates and modifies manufacturing, packaging, marking, and component drawings. * Completes article, BOM, component setup and maintenance in PDM / PLM System * Coordinates design reviews between planning, manufacturing, purchasing, and suppliers * Follows all corporate processes / procedures in an ISO 9001 environment. * Leads or is a member of project teams. * Other duties as assigned. You will gather requirements, design, configure, develop , test and maintain Zuora billing. RESPONSIBILITIES In this role, you’ll: * Lead end-to-end architecture and complex product catalog design within Zuora Billing, including charge models, subscription lifecycle management, and scalable O2C/OTR solution design aligned to business and finance processes. * Drive advanced Zuora configurations including custom workflows (automation, integrations, error handling), mediation and data transformation pipelines, advanced billing rules, custom rating logic, multi-entity/multi-currency global setups, custom reports/data sources, and billing performance optimization. * Design, build, and support robust integrations between Zuora and enterprise systems (Oracle ERP, tax engines, payment gateways, CRM, data platforms), including API-based integrations, middleware flows, automated reconciliations, and audit control mechanisms. * Own post–go-live production support, including incident management (P1/P2), root cause analysis, change and release management, operational stability, and support for financial close and compliance processes. * Lead full lifecycle implementations (requirements through hypercare), provide governance and technical leadership, mentor team members, ensure documentation and knowledge transfer, and represent Zuora architecture in executive and cross-functional design forums. * Develops and executes system conversion and implementations. * Lead cross-functional requirement sessions to elicit, document and analyze business requirements and functional specifications.
