HSE Manager Service Unit

Reporting to the Station Manager and under the direction of the Supervisor, the Operator 2 is a class 1 (Canada) / CDL A (U.S.) driving role whose primary responsibility is to safely operate and care for field equipment, perform shop maintenance, and support the operational business. This role works closely with Greenhands and Bulk Drivers. This position is considered to be a safety-sensitive position. Job Responsibilities * Maintain, prepare, and operate a pumper for each and every job. * Operate the pumper to perform proper on-site rig in (assemble) and rig out (disassemble) procedures, mixing, pumping, pressure tests, plug drops, wash ups, final inspections, and assist with location clean up. * Develop and apply an understanding of all gauges in the operator panel. * Monitor pump pressure, rates, densities, and volume during pumping performance; observe and report if anyone is needed in the hot zone. * Inspect and perform function tests before equipment leaves yard, ensuring all components are in working order. * Maintain up-to-date documentation on equipment maintenance and repairs (i.e. 300-hour maintenance, greasing unit and iron treating), and submit paper work before shift end. * Perform shop maintenance on field equipment when required, including pumper spring maintenance and fluid end inspections. * Rebuild Chiksans and Neutron valves. * Assist the Supervisor in job preparations and incident reporting. * Adhere to and enforce company safety policies and ensure compliance with HSE legislation. * Develop and maintain strong external/internal client relationships in support of company values and objectives. * Establish and maintain procedures to ensure high level of service. * Drive well servicing equipment with a trailer (pup unit) to and from well sites, as required. * Mentor Operator 1’s in obtaining their class 1 (Canada) / CDL (U.S.) license. * Participate in training and development activities. * Other general duties as required. Qualifications - Required * Valid class 1 (Canada) / class A CDL (U.S.) driver’s license with a clean driving record. * Physically capable of moving/lifting heavy objects up to 23 kg., bending, standing, gripping, sitting/driving, walking, and climbing repeatedly for extended periods. * Able to work outdoors for extended periods of time and in all types of weather conditions. * Able to be on call 24 hours on a 15 days on a 6 days off rotational schedule, remaining fit for duty at all times (subject to change due to market conditions). * Able to work in congested or confined areas, and with exposure to loud noises and vibration. * Legally eligible to work in the country the role is based out of. Qualifications - Looking For * Experience in oil and gas field operations. * Experience with rig in and rig out procedures, mixing and pumping, pressure tests, plug drops, wash ups, final inspections, and clean up. * Experience with equipment and components, including pumping equipment. * Maintenance knowledge, mechanically inclined, and have the ability to troubleshoot. * Strong understanding of DOT regulations and required paperwork. * Strong work ethic, positive attitude, reliable, and dependable. * Flexible and able to adapt to change. * Understands the importance of safety. * Team player and customer service focused. * Demonstrated initiative and results orientated. Qualifications - Assets * Experience in both primary and remedial cementing. * Experience operating Twins. * Experience dealing with customers.

Position Summary Instill the RK safety culture into all employees.  Analyze different types of work environments and procedures.  Inspect workplaces for adherence to local, state, and federal regulations concerning safety, health, and environment.  As needed design programs to eliminate hazards regarding workplace injuries and damage to the environment. Role Responsibilities Identify hazards in the workplace and take appropriate steps to eliminate them. Take necessary steps to promote safety and health on job sites. Conduct continual safety inspections on assigned projects. Recommends installations of safety guards, safe working practices and use of personal safety equipment. Perform substance abuse testing, as requested. Present Health & Safety presentation at new hire orientation. Investigate all accidents and incidents to identify their causes and to determine how they might be prevented. Conduct training on a variety of topics including but not limited to fall protection, emergency response and etc. Ability to confront people who are not working safely. Develop new safety standards as required. Claims management and clinic visits, as required. Develop independent site specific training plans. Assist subcontractors and vendors for compliance on projects. drawings ready for inspection at all times. Qualifications Indirect supervision. Applies diversified knowledge of applicable principles and practices to a broad variety of assignments.
