Reporting to the Director of Global Demand Generation and working in close partnership with the Senior Global Campaign Manager, you will be responsible for how we reach our Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) - translating campaign narratives and messaging into high-performing paid media programmes that drive pipeline and closed-won bookings. You will define how we show up in-market: architecting campaigns in-platform, shaping audience segmentation, setting the testing framework, and leading the relationship with our paid media agency. This is a specialist role operating within a sales-led GTM motion and an ABM framework. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES * Own and scale paid acquisition across channels - including LinkedIn, Meta, and Demandbase - bringing deep platform expertise and a proven track record of scaling paid social to efficiently reach target accounts. * Lead media planning and budget allocation, owning paid social budget decisions globally and using data to inform campaign architectures that reach target accounts efficiently and predictably. * Architect campaigns in-platform, translating briefs and messaging frameworks into effective campaign structures. * Lead audience segmentation, mapping the SAM into platform audiences and ensuring targeting precision across business segments and personas. * Define creative requirements and ad formats for each channel, working with the wider DG team (Campaigns, Content, Design, Regional managers) to ensure assets are fit for purpose. * Own the testing framework, running structured experiments across creative, audiences, and channels, and feeding performance insights back to inform future campaign strategy and messaging. * Manage our paid media agency partnership, overseeing in-platform execution, defining the guardrails they operate within, and driving continuous performance improvement. * Deliver channel performance reporting, providing insights needed to assess campaign effectiveness. * Build robust attribution and measurement, partnering with Marketing Operations to establish accurate cross-channel attribution - connecting in-platform performance data to commercial metrics that matter to the business. * Collaborate with Regional Demand Generation Managers on local market strategy, audience priorities and budget allocation to ensure global campaigns land effectively. * Proactively identify opportunities to improve campaign processes, platform performance, and testing rigour. SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS * You have a minimum of 3–4 years of solid paid media or performance marketing experience, ideally within B2B FinTech, payments, or SaaS. * You have proven experience executing within a sales-led go-to-market engine rather than self-serve, with familiarity of ABM and enterprise buying cycles. * You have hands-on expertise with paid media platforms and are comfortable owning campaign architecture end-to-end in-platform. * You are analytically strong, with the ability to interpret performance data, run structured tests, and turn insights into clear recommendations for both media optimisation and creative direction. * You have experience managing agency relationships, setting clear expectations, and holding partners accountable to performance. * You are proficient in campaign-related technologies including CRM, MAP, and ABM platforms. Base salary range: £63,200 - £94,800 Base salary ranges are based on role, job level, location, and market data. Please note that whilst we strive to offer competitive compensation, our approach is to pay between the minimum and the mid-point of the pay range until performance can be assessed in role. ABOUT THE ROLE DeepL is at an inflection point in its growth, and this is an opportunity to directly shape how the world's most accurate AI translation company turns its highest-value accounts into customers and expands them further through account-based marketing. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract covering maternity leave, based in London (hybrid / 2-days per week). As Senior ABM Digital Marketing Manager, you will execute and optimise account-based marketing campaigns across DeepL's core paid channel mix, driving measurable account engagement and pipeline outcomes across our target accounts. This is a hands-on, individual-contributor role reporting to the Director of Performance Marketing and Campaigns. You will sit at the intersection of Field, SDR and Marketing, turning target account lists into personalised, multi-channel paid campaigns, while also enabling regional marketers to adapt and run ABM plays that fit their own markets. You'll be equally comfortable optimising a programmatic display campaign as you are coaching a regional colleague on how to localise an account-based play for their patch. WHAT YOU'LL OWN CAMPAIGN EXECUTION & OPTIMISATION * Build, launch and continuously optimise account-based campaigns across programmatic/display (including the ones managed by media partners), paid social and other relevant paid channels, ensuring creative, targeting and budget are tuned to the accounts and buying groups you're engaging. * Apply an experimentation mindset across ABM channels: A/B test creative, targeting and channel mix to improve account engagement and conversion at every funnel stage. * Push beyond template ad units and generic messaging, developing creative concepts and campaign formats for target accounts, and tying every creative decision back to account engagement, pipeline or revenue impact. FIELD, SDR & MARKETING ALIGNMENT * Act as one of the primary marketing points of contact for Field and SDR teams on target accounts, aligning on buying-committee personas and success metrics so that ABM is a shared motion, not a marketing-only initiative. * Manage agency and media partner relationships, providing clear briefs, holding partners accountable to KPIs, and ensuring budget efficiency. * Partner with Field, SDRs, Field and regional marketing teams to ensure ABM programmes are integrated, timely and grounded in a consistent narrative across all products and regions. ENABLEMENT & SCALABILITY * Build the frameworks, playbooks and channel guidance that let regional marketers tailor and execute account-based approaches for their own markets, making ABM repeatable rather than something only you can run. * Lead the evaluation, selection, and onboarding of ABM technologies and platforms to build a scalable marketing technology stack. Define platform requirements, conduct vendor assessments, oversee implementation and integrations, establish best practices and governance, and drive user adoption to support personalized, account-centric marketing at scale. * Partner with relevant teams to localise existing assets and commission new creative where gaps exist, ensuring every asset can be traced back to an account outcome. MARTECH & REPORTING * Act as the internal owner for ABM and their integration with CRM and marketing automation, ensuring , in collaboration with Marketing operations, clean data flow, accurate targeting lists and reliable reporting. * Define and report on ABM-specific metrics, including account engagement, pipeline influenced/sourced by ABM, account penetration, deal velocity and win rates, communicating these clearly to Field and Marketing leadership. WHAT YOU'LL BRING * 5–7+ years in B2B marketing, with hands-on experience running and optimising account-based marketing campaigns, ideally in enterprise or B2B SaaS. * Strong hands-on experience with paid/programmatic channels, including campaign setup, targeting, budget optimisation and performance reporting. * A track record of working closely with Field and SDR teams, with the credibility and communication skills to be seen as a true partner rather than "marketing on the side." * Experience building playbooks or frameworks that other marketers (regional or otherwise) can pick up and run with, scaling your impact through others as well as your own campaigns. * Comfort defining KPIs, working in CRM and reporting tools, and using data to justify creative, targeting and budget decisions at the account level. * Ability to push for stronger creative and campaign concepts while always tying that creativity back to account engagement, pipeline or revenue. * Strong project management skills, with the ability to run multiple concurrent account campaigns independently and prioritise effectively without heavy oversight. * Excellent communication skills, able to align stakeholders across Field, Marketing, regional teams and leadership, and to represent campaign performance in reporting. * A builder's mindset, comfortable operating without a large team beneath you — this is a role for someone who wants to own outcomes directly, not just direct others. WE ARE AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER You are welcome at DeepL for who you are - we appreciate authenticity here. Our product is for everyone, and so is our workplace. The more voices we have represented and amplified in our business, the more we will all succeed, contribute, and think forward! The company Small businesses move fast. Opportunities often don’t wait, and cash flow pressures can appear overnight. To keep going, and growing, SMEs need finance that’s as flexible and responsive as they are. That's why we built iwoca. Our smart technology, data science and five-star customer service ensures business owners can act with the speed, confidence and control they need, exactly when it's needed. We’ve already cleared the way for 100,000 businesses with more than £4 billion in funding. Our passionate team is driven to help even more SMEs succeed, through access to better finance and other services that make running a business easier. Our ultimate mission is to support one million SMEs in their defining moments, creating lasting impact for the communities and economies they drive. The role This is a high-impact, multi-channel role where you'll work across Paid Search, Direct Mail, and emerging digital platforms/trends to drive acquisition growth at iwoca. You won't be managing a single channel in isolation. You'll be helping automate operations, challenge model outputs, launch new products, and push into new ad formats across three interconnected areas. The thread connecting everything: using AI and automation to do more, faster, with better judgment. What you’ll work on PAID SEARCH; Account Management & Hygiene * Launch, optimise and scale campaigns across Google Search, Performance Max, Youtube and Demand Gen. * Keep the Google and Microsoft Search accounts healthy, consolidated, and growing - increasingly by building agents to handle the repetitive hygiene work (negatives, quality score triage, consolidation) and spending your own time on the non-obvious calls. Performance Insight * Build agent-driven monitoring and reporting to spot issues and opportunities faster than a human eyeballing dashboards ever could (ie. keywords, landing pages, search terms, creative assets) * Turn the resulting data into decisions: which campaigns to scale, kill, restructure. Reporting is an output of this, not the job. * Report on channel performance to stakeholders on a regular basis using both in-platform and internal funnel data. Testing & New Opportunities * Analyse performance data to deliver actionable insights and support ideas for testing and optimisation based on clear hypotheses e.g. landing page engagement metrics, keyword themes with lower conversion rate, under performing creative assets. * Evolve search strategy for emerging trends related to AI search behaviour (AI Overviews, AI Mode Ads). * Prepare for new search ad opportunities across ChatGPT and other AI tools. DIRECT MAIL; Automation & Operations * Find and implement new ways to automate the operational handling of the Mail channel - from campaign coordination, lead delivery to agency and unsubscribe processing. * Manage agency relationship and coordinate monthly mailing rounds (200-400k letters) * Monitor tracking setup and attribution (QR codes, mail codes, UTMs into Looker/GA4) Product Expansion * Coordinate with product launch teams on go-to-market channel strategy, including creative, data, and measurement. Model Optimisation Collaboration * Work with our data science team to monitor, refine and channel the performance of the models powering lead selection. * Interrogate predictions vs. actuals, flag divergence, push back on assumptions. * Translate model outputs into operational decisions: which percentile to mail, what ROI threshold to use, when to pause or expand. OTHER; Cross-Channel * Identify audience overlaps between Mail and Paid Search segments Support multi-channel attribution and contribute to iwoca's broader acquisition strategy The requirements Essential: * AI-native: you use AI tools daily to solve real problems - automating workflows, processing data, building things; not just prompting for copy. * High initiative: you see a manual process and instinctively ask "why isn't this automated?" You act before being asked. * Strong critical thinking: you can interrogate data, challenge assumptions, and push back on conclusions that don't add up. * Intellectually curious: excited by unfamiliar domains. You'll need to learn Mail operations, causal modelling, credit card mechanics, and emerging search formats - fast. * Data-fluent: a data driven mindset with the ability to interpret complex data, interpreting model outputs and translate it into actionable recommendations. * Commercially minded: you understand CAC, CLTV, ROI, incrementality - and can translate numbers into business decisions. * Clear communicator: you will work across data science, engineering, agencies, and senior leadership. * Organised: you can manage concurrent monthly cadences across multiple channels. PREFERRED (NOT ESSENTIAL): * Google Ads or paid search experience. * Fintech or B2B experience. * Experience working with predictive/ML models commercially. We are setting an exceptionally high bar for this hire. We're looking for mechanical sympathy with the systems you'll work in, very strong critical thinking, and genuine intellectual curiosity. Channel expertise is secondary - we'll teach you the domain. What we can't teach is how you think. The culture At iwoca, the best idea wins. We model our culture on independent thinking, challenging untested logic, and evidence-based decisions. We prioritise learning and growth, and give people the autonomy to develop in the direction that makes them most effective. We're a tech company and believe in the power of AI to help us work faster and better. We provide the infrastructure where every iwocan always has access to the best models and where those models have access to all of our data. We will help our people to learn how to use and grow with the new tools available to them. The offices We put a lot of effort into making iwoca a great place to work: * Offices in London, Leeds, Berlin, and Frankfurt with plenty of drinks and snacks. * Events and community-led groups, including running groups, padel, and monthly ping-pong and pool competitions. The benefits * Flexible working hours. * Medical insurance from Vitality, including discounted gym membership. * A private GP service (separate from Vitality) for you, your partner, and your dependents. * 25 days’ holiday per year, an extra day off for your birthday, the option to buy or sell an additional five days of annual leave, and unlimited unpaid leave. * A one-month, fully paid sabbatical after four years. * Instant access to external counselling and therapy sessions for team members that need emotional or mental health support. * 3% Pension contributions on total earnings. * An employee equity incentive scheme. * Generous parental leave and a nursery tax benefit scheme to help you save money. * Electric car scheme and cycle to work scheme. * Two company retreats a year: we’ve been to France, Italy, Spain, and further afield. And to make sure we all keep learning, we offer: * A learning and development budget for everyone. * Company-wide talks with internal and external speakers. * Access to learning platforms like Treehouse.
