Who we are
Apollo, a Skyward Group company, is an innovation-inspired insurance platform operating at Lloyd’s of London, delivering
data-driven and creative solutions across a broad range of risks.
Our name reflects our origins. Inspired by one of our founding investors, Neil Armstrong, the first person to walk on the moon,
the business was built with the same pioneering mindset. Alongside Jim Hays, Neil set out to create a different kind of Lloyd’s
platform, focused, agile and built around people.
Since launch in 2009, we have grown into a diversified insurance group offering products across Property, Casualty, Marine, Energy
and Transportation, Specialty and Reinsurance, alongside Smart Follow and digital and embedded risk programmes. Our experience and
unique ecosystem give Platform Partners the best chance of success, from navigating the Lloyd’s new entrant process through to the
delivery of their long-term strategy.
With a team of more than 300 professionals, we continue to grow with purpose, combining underwriting excellence, innovation and
collaboration to enable a more resilient and sustainable world.
As a Senior Outward Reinsurance Technician, you will join Apollo's Ceded Reinsurance team and play a key role in the
administration, processing, and oversight of Apollo's outward reinsurance programmes across both Apollo syndicates and Platform
Partner Syndicates.
Working closely with Underwriting, Finance, Claims, Actuarial teams, Brokers, and external reinsurance partners, you will support
the full lifecycle of ceded reinsurance activity, ensuring accurate contract administration, timely reporting, and effective
management of reinsurance arrangements across a diverse and growing portfolio.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a collaborative team at a time of continued growth. You will support multiple syndicates
and partner businesses while helping to ensure Apollo continues to meet its operational and regulatory obligations across an
increasingly complex reinsurance landscape.

We're looking for a Senior Product Manager to help drive the strategic vision, product strategy, and roadmap for the AI Builders Experience Team. The AI Builders Experience team owns how MongoDB shows up for the rapidly growing community of developers building AI-native applications, with explicit license to explore where this space is heading. This includes our integrations with frameworks like LangChain, Mastra, LlamaIndex and others; the patterns and reference architectures we ship for RAG, agents, and semantic search; and the developer-facing tooling that makes MongoDB the natural choice for AI workloads. You'll also place strategic bets on where the space is going next. Our customer is the AI application builder, and our job is to deliver an exceptional developer experience for that audience. You should be the kind of PM who lives in the AI builder community, continuously tracking emerging frameworks, tooling, and development patterns, and identifying which deserve a place in MongoDB's portfolio. You're a strong fit if you have already shipped a product or can demonstrate a side-project where developers were the customer and AI was central to the value proposition. Examples include AI developer tooling such as framework integrations, SDKs/APIs, or agent, evaluation, and observability products. You can walk through what you shipped, who used it, what changed for them, and the decisions you owned along the way. You'll collaborate closely with a globally distributed engineering team and partners across documentation, developer relations, partnerships, and marketing. Your focus is outward: understanding and serving AI builders where they are. We are looking to speak to candidates who are based in Dublin or Cork for our hybrid working model. ABOUT THE TEAM We are a highly collaborative team of Product Managers, Engineers, Product Analysts, and Product Marketers, working together to make the experience of building with data, and increasingly with AI, easy and enjoyable for developers. We are a distributed team, stretching from our offices in Dublin and NYC to other locations in Europe, the US, and Canada. Every now and then, we all meet in one place for project kickoffs, workshops, and team events. THE IDEAL CANDIDATE FOR THIS ROLE SHOULD HAVE * 5+ years of product management experience with a track record of shipping developer-facing tools, integrations, SDKs, or APIs * Hands-on experience as a PM who has owned a developer-facing AI product end to end. You can point to a specific product, name the developers who used it, articulate how you moved their experience forward, and describe the strategic and technical tradeoffs you owned along the way * Working fluency in the modern AI builder stack, including frameworks such as LangChain, Mastra, or LlamaIndex; patterns like RAG, agents, tool use, and evaluation; and the broader landscape of model providers, vector stores, and orchestration tools * Ideally have commercial/professional experience developing applications in Python (the interviews for this position may include a live coding component meant to showcase your understanding of idioms, patterns, and evolving runtime environments) * A demonstrated habit of staying ahead of a fast-moving space. You can point to specific emerging tools, techniques, or communities you've tracked recently, and have a defensible opinion on which matter and why * Familiarity with adjacent ML and Data Science concepts and tooling (e.g., Pandas, NumPy, common ML frameworks) and an understanding of how AI applications are built, deployed, and monitored in production * Comfort with the unique challenges of AI product development (model uncertainty, evaluation difficulty, longer or non-linear development cycles) and the ability to set realistic expectations with stakeholders accordingly * Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear product direction for a wide range of audiences, from individual developers to executive stakeholders * Ability to distill customer use cases into comprehensive business cases and execute on them * A commitment to fostering an inclusive and respectful work environment in line with MongoDB's Core Values POSITION EXPECTATIONS * Explore the problem space, build connections with your customer base, interact with users in the AI builder community, and formulate the vision, strategy, and roadmap for your area, keeping it aligned with MongoDB's strategic priorities * Identify and pursue emerging opportunities in the AI builder space (new frameworks, patterns, partnerships, and use cases) and make evidence-based bets on where MongoDB should invest * Deeply understand all aspects of the business. Your job is to ensure a business outcome, not just product definition * Work closely with engineering and product marketing to design, ship, and position new capabilities of the MongoDB AI builder experience * Collect and analyze data that drives product decisions, including signals from community channels, telemetry, partnerships, and direct customer engagement * Work with thought leaders across the AI ecosystem (framework maintainers, model providers, open-source contributors) to establish credibility and weigh in on discussions shaping the space * Engage in go-to-market activities such as collaborating on marketing campaigns, running surveys, presenting at conferences, and producing sales messaging SUCCESS MEASURES * In three months, you will have onboarded onto current MongoDB technologies and tools, built and shipped a public AI application with Python and MongoDB on GitHub, successfully triaged new issues with the engineering team, taken ownership of the existing roadmap and product backlog, and started building relationships across the globally distributed team. * In six months, you will have refined existing user stories and JIRA issues, prioritized and started executing on them with your engineering team, and produced a research-backed point of view on emerging opportunities in the AI builder space that informs the roadmap. * In nine months, you will have produced at least two General Availability releases, integrations or capabilities serving AI builders, delighted users with new and improved experiences (with metrics you've defined to measure customer success), identified new opportunities and refined your roadmap, contributed to adjacent projects, presented to customers, and gained strong support from your team and other stakeholders. Let’s fix hospitality, for good. Hospitality runs on thin margins, and most operators are stretched trying to protect them. We built Nory to fix this problem. Our CEO, Conor, knows the pain first-hand. He founded and scaled Mad Egg in Ireland, and grew tired of stitching together so-called market-leading systems and spreadsheets just to keep the business running. He set out to build the tool he wished he’d had from day one. Nory is a restaurant management system that blends real-time data with machine learning and autonomous agents to give operators real control of their margins. From food prep to forecasting, it is the operational intelligence that helps restaurants run profitably, with less waste and better jobs for the people working in them. Fresh off a Series B led by Kinnevik, we’ve grown to over 100 people across Ireland, the UK, Spain and New York. Demand is scaling faster than we expected. The role We’re looking for a Senior Mobile Engineer to join our Web & Mobile Platform team. Nory Team is the mobile app we’ve built for everyone on the restaurant floor. It's how staff clock in, check their shifts, book leave and get paid. As part of our continuous investment into our stack, we want to rebuild our app from scratch to make sure we have the best possible experience for our customers. You'll own the rebuild end to end: assess what's there, set the architecture, plan the migration and ship an MVP in one to two quarters, then grow it into a platform the rest of engineering builds on. You'll lean on AI to move fast while keeping the quality bar high. The real challenge is reliability. These apps run in basements with no signal, on cracked and low-spec phones, for people who often speak English as a second language. A failed clock-in means a missed shift or a missed paycheck, so it has to work every time. Nailing that in the messiest conditions is the heart of the job. React Native is where you'll spend most of your days, so deep experience with it is essential. Our apps currently run on Capacitor over React, and the wider stack is Python, FastAPI, React, TypeScript, Node.js, AWS (Fargate, Aurora, SQS), Postgres, MongoDB and Docker. What you’ll be doing Our squads are cross-functional and run with a lot of autonomy. You’ll own the mobile platform end to end, from working out what’s there today to a full production rebuild and everything after it, working closely with product, design and engineers from across the business. Key projects you’ll be working on: • Build for the real world. The app has to hold up on patchy connectivity, old devices and flaky GPS, because for our users, clocking in reliably isn’t optional. • Set up the design system and modular building blocks in React Native, so the team can move fast without cutting corners on UX. • Put AI agents to work in parallel to generate and ship good code quickly. You’re building the machine that builds the app, not just the app. This means thinking carefully about how to design our codebases to allow for high quality outcomes with coding agents. • Grow the build into a platform, owning the quality and pace of the mobile codebase and giving other engineers at Nory a solid base to build on. • Work closely with design and engineering, and stay outward-facing as the core of a small platform team. What you’ll bring • Deep React Native experience at a senior level. You’ve shipped production React Native apps in TypeScript and can run a mobile codebase on your own, start to finish. You don’t need Swift or Kotlin, though a bit of curiosity about the lower-level APIs on each OS goes a long way. • You build with AI, but you don’t let standards slip. You get a lot faster with AI agents while still holding a high bar on detail, design and craft. That mix of speed and taste is exactly what we’re after. • You’ve done a from-scratch build or a big migration. You’ve taken something greenfield from nothing to shipped, or torn down and rebuilt a legacy app, and you can walk us through the architecture, testing and migration decisions you made, and why. • You actually care about product and UX. You think hard about the person using the app and the situation they’re in, especially when they’re the kind of user most software ignores. To you, design quality is part of the engineering, not someone else’s job. • You can work across the stack. When the work calls for it, you’re happy dropping into our React web codebase rather than staying purely on mobile. • You build for scale and reliability. You’ve worked on apps with real usage behind them, tens of thousands of actions a day, and you’re careful about API calls, webhooks and performance so things stay fast and dependable. • You’re outward-facing. You don’t mind engineers from across the company coming to you, and you’re comfortable going out to talk to them too. That’s a slightly different personality from your average engineer. • You own problems, not tickets. You work independently, you take responsibility for how things turn out, and you’re more likely to say “I decided” than “we decided.” Bonus points • Experience building people tech or HR tech workflows at scale. • A background on a web and mobile platform team, where you picked up strong habits around architecture and best practice. • Experience building B2C or consumer-grade apps that are quick, responsive and genuinely nice to use. • Some hands-on tinkering with native APIs (Swift or Kotlin), even if it’s not your day job. • Experience in hospitality, food service or another operational industry. Our stack React Native, TypeScript, React, Node.js, Capacitor (legacy), Python, FastAPI, AWS (Fargate, Aurora, SQS), Postgres, MongoDB, Docker What you’ll get in return • Remote-first working environment • Competitive salary depending on experience • Meaningful equity. At Nory, everyone is an owner • 35 days of paid leave per year (including bank holidays) • Comprehensive private health insurance via Irish Life (Ireland) and AXA (UK) • Enhanced parental leave and baby loss support • Learning and development culture, with a €1,000 personal annual budget plus a quarterly book budget • €250 home office workspace budget • Regular team offsites and socials • Work from anywhere for up to 3 months of the year • Offices in London, Dublin, or Spain How we work Our vision is to build a better future for the restaurant industry, one where operators are in control of their businesses and the people on the floor can build careers they are proud of. To get there we move fast, stay focused and hold ourselves to a high bar. Our values guide how we work and grow together. • We serve up impact with a side of profit. We prioritise work that delivers real financial results for our restaurant partners. • We prioritise speed of service. We move fast, unblock each other and deliver with urgency. • We act like owners. We take problems on, raise the bar and build better every day. • We win as a crew. We grow stronger through feedback, collaboration and shared wins. We hire humans. At Nory, we believe that diverse teams build better products. We welcome applicants from all backgrounds, identities, and walks of life. We do not discriminate based on gender, ethnicity, sexual orientation, religion, family status, age, disability, or race. What matters to us is how you think, how you work, and what you bring to the table.
