in Slovenia.
In this role, your main focus will be to assist our retail partners in maximizing their success, while taking an active role in
planning marketing activities, selling new products, improving operational metrics, and offering general day-to-day support.

Role Purpose Senior BD Specialist is a key driver of Rocket Now Japan’s commercial growth. This role is responsible for expanding brand partnerships, generating revenue through Ads and co-marketing initiatives, and owning the end-to-end execution of Business Development projects. This position goes beyond proposal or sales activities and carries full ownership for execution quality, performance outcomes, and operational excellence. What You Will Do 1. Business Development Project Ownership * Lead end-to-end execution of BD projects, including SPAIS, Co-Marketing initiatives, and Ads solutions. * Manage the full project lifecycle: planning → proposal development → brand-side negotiation → internal alignment → execution → monitoring → performance analysis. * Ensure stable and on-time project launches that meet quality standards, internal processes, and compliance requirements. 2. Brand Partnership Management * Act as the primary point of contact for brand-side marketing and BD managers (working-level to mid-level stakeholders). * Lead negotiations on budget allocation, campaign structure, creative assets, and performance expectations. * Identify upsell opportunities and new collaboration initiatives to deepen existing partnerships. 3. Revenue & Pipeline Management * Build, manage, and grow revenue pipelines for Ads, co-funded promotions, and brand growth programs. * Drive upsell conversations to expand campaign scale, frequency, and scope with existing brand partners. * Forecast pipeline performance accurately while identifying and mitigating commercial risks. 4. Success Metrics Execution Excellence * Number of BD projects successfully executed (SPAIS / Co-funded / Ads). * Percentage of projects launched on time without critical execution errors. Commercial Impact * GMV uplift, campaign ROI, and overall revenue contribution. * Ads pipeline performance, including lead volume, conversion rate, and revenue generated. * Contribution to CAC efficiency improvement and customer retention. Collaboration & Quality * Quality of cross-functional collaboration (speed, issue resolution, and alignment). * Brand partner satisfaction, repeat campaign rate, and long-term partnership retention. Basic Qualifications * 5+ years of experience in Business Development, Consulting, Account Management, Partner Marketing, or other commercial roles. * Proven experience leading cross-functional projects with strong ownership. * Strong communication and negotiation skills with brand or partner stakeholders. * Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, execution-driven environment. * Fluent-level Japanese (English proficiency is a plus). Preferred Qualifications * Experience in F&B, retail, delivery/marketplace platforms, or digital marketing. * Understanding of Ads products, performance metrics, and co-funding models. * Demonstrated track record of delivering measurable commercial results.
