About the Job:
We are looking for a Senior Network Engineer to join our team in Linköping. This role involves working in advanced networking
environments, focusing on EVPN and VXLAN implementations, network automation, and performance optimization. You will be
responsible for configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting networking infrastructure while leveraging cutting-edge tools and
technologies.
Responsibilities:
- Set up, maintain, and troubleshoot EVPN and VXLAN environments.
- Work with networking tools such as LibreNMS, Oxidized, and Grafana.
- Configure BGP and manage import/export lists for optimized network performance.
- Develop and implement Ansible Playbooks for network automation.
- Ensure high-level network security in cloud environments.
- Monitor network performance and implement traffic engineering solutions.
- Drive end-to-end technical solutions, from design to implementation.
- Evaluate and adopt new technologies and methodologies within networking.
Mandatory Requirements:
- 5-10 years of experience in advanced networking.
- Juniper Network Certified Internet Professional (Data Center) or similar certification.
- Strong experience with EVPN and VXLAN environments.
- Proficient in networking tools like LibreNMS, Oxidized, and Grafana.
- Excellent knowledge of BGP, switching, routing, and firewalling.
- Expertise in writing Ansible Playbooks for network automation.
- Scripting skills, preferably in Python.
- In-depth understanding of current SDN technologies and trends.
- Experience with cloud network security and automation.
Desirable Skills:
- Experience in ITIL and SRE frameworks.
- Knowledge of IP traffic engineering and network performance monitoring.
- Familiarity with API-driven network backend configuration.
