As a lead Counsel in Hong Kong, you will establish IMC’s legal presence in one of our most strategically important and
fastest-growing offices. Reporting directly to the General Counsel, APAC, you will play a key role in advising on legal matters,
supporting trading and technology, and managing corporate governance responsibilities across the region.
You will be part of, and work closely with, IMC’s APAC Legal Team in Sydney, ensuring seamless and consistent legal support across
APAC. Beyond the legal team, you will collaborate with Trading, Technology, Finance, HR, Corporate Development, Risk, and
Compliance, as well as legal counterparts across the globe, ensuring alignment and best practices across all jurisdictions.

Senior Legal Counsel We're looking for a Senior Legal Counsel to be a core part of GetGround's legal function, providing sharp, commercially minded legal advice across the business as we scale. You'll be doing the legal work, advising on commercial contracts, product questions, regulatory matters, and everything in between. You'll be a trusted partner to teams across the business and a key part of how we manage legal risk day-to-day. THE OPPORTUNITY GetGround operates at the intersection of fintech, proptech and wealthtech. We have £2Bn+ in assets on platform, 30,000+ users across 70 countries, and a portfolio of regulated products spanning mortgages, property management, and investment tools. WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING Commercial and Contracts * Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts, including supplier agreements, partnership contracts, and customer terms * Advise business teams on contractual risk and help them make informed decisions quickly * Maintain and improve GetGround's contract templates, playbooks, and standard terms * Support the management of external counsel on matters requiring specialist input Product and Regulatory * Provide legal input on new product features, customer journeys, and platform changes * Advise on FCA regulatory requirements as they apply to GetGround's products and services * Support compliance reviews of customer-facing content and regulated communications * Help track relevant regulatory developments and flag implications for the business Corporate and General Legal * Support on corporate matters including fundraising, corporate governance, and company secretarial work * Advise on data protection and privacy matters, including GDPR compliance * Provide general legal support across the business on employment, IP, and operational matters * Help build scalable legal processes, templates, and training materials ABOUT YOU You're a UK qualified solicitor with around 4+ years PQE, ideally with a mix of private practice and some in-house exposure. You bring: * Strong commercial legal skills, with experience drafting and negotiating contracts in a fast-paced environment * A good understanding of FCA regulation and how it applies to fintech or financial services products * Intellectual curiosity and the ability to pick up new areas of law quickly * A commercial mindset; you give practical advice, not just legal analysis * The confidence to work autonomously and manage your own workload without close supervision * Clear, concise communication skills, written and verbal * A collaborative approach and genuine interest in the business, not just the legal matters Highly desirable: * Experience with property, mortgage, or investment products * In-house experience at a fast-growing fintech * Exposure to data protection, GDPR, or privacy work We know that great candidates don't always match every point on a job description. SENIOR LEGAL COUNSEL As Senior Legal Counsel you'll be joining Napoleon's Legal Department, reporting directly to the Belgium Legal Director. This is a broad, hands-on role covering corporate, commercial, and regulatory law across all Napoleon business lines, with a particular focus on serving as the primary legal contact for the HR department on social and labor law matters. WHAT THE ROLE INVOLVES * Advise all lines of business across a wide range of legal areas including: gambling law, commercial law, contract law, labour law, and corporate law, acting as the go-to legal contact for the HR department and delivering practical, risk-assessed solutions within clear timeframes. * Draft and review agreements entered into by Napoleon, contributing to the standardisation of legal documentation across the business. * Manage Napoleon's real estate portfolio and licences, ensuring business continuity and the lawfulness of all related commercial and administrative aspects. * Coordinate and follow up on claims, disputes, and court cases to ensure Napoleon's interests are properly defended and safeguarded. * Monitor changes in existing legislation and new legal developments relevant to Napoleon, translating these into clear, actionable guidance for impacted business lines. * Build legal awareness across the organisation by delivering training, developing templates, and helping departments handle day-to-day matters more autonomously, without losing sight of applicable legal boundaries. WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR * Master's degree in Law. * 5 to 8 years of professional experience in one or more of the legal fields relevant to this role (gambling, commercial, contract, corporate, or labour law). * Demonstrable ability to provide practical, business-focused legal advice and translate complex legal matters into clear, usable guidance. * Experience drafting, reviewing, and standardising a range of commercial agreements. * Familiarity with regulatory compliance and the ability to monitor and interpret legislative change. * Excellent written and spoken communication skills in both Dutch and English. * Ability to work autonomously and manage a varied workload with strong attention to detail. * Comfortable working as part of a close-knit legal team whilst also engaging directly with stakeholders across the business. ROLE BACKGROUND We are now looking to hire an experienced Senior Legal Counsel to provide legal support across commercial and compliance topics in a number of countries in the Central region of Wolt that comprises various countries primarily in Central Europe. Our ideal location is Budapest, but we can consider other locations as well in the Central region. We’re looking for someone who’s not afraid of digging into different kinds of legal issues and understands the Wolt way of doing things – a problem solver and a solution-oriented business enabler. In this role, you will be providing proactive legal advice to several of our country teams, with a primary focus on commercial and compliance topics. You will be bringing your deep expertise and drive the legal support in negotiations and contracting of complex deals in your area. You would be supporting the regional functions and you will provide guidance on legal and other topics. Depending on your level of expertise and aspirations, you may also be given additional responsibility areas as the business needs and the team continue to evolve. WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING * As Wolt’s Senior Legal Counsel, you’ll support Wolt’s business and handle legal and compliance topics over various countries in the Central region. * You will be the first point of contact and trusted advisor for our business stakeholders and management in the region and countries you are responsible for. * Assessing and managing risks while supporting the business. * Being in charge of expertise related to the regulatory landscape for Wolt’s operations in defined countries and ensuring compliance with regulations. * Having a key role in contract negotiations with our merchants and other business partners. * Working on the continuous development of contracting practices and related processes. * Proactively identifying areas for improvement and finding solutions. QUALIFICATIONS * 7+ years of legal experience as an in-house counsel and/or from a law firm in an international setting. In-house experience is considered as an advantage. * Master of Laws degree from a reputable university in the EU, preferably from a university from the relevant region. An additional LL.M. degree from the US or another country is a plus, but not a requirement. * Ability to push the boundaries of what is achievable by using AI to work faster, smarter, and more scalably to deliver results. * Interest in taking on a generalist legal role with a very broad range of tasks. * Experience in working in close cooperation with internal and external legal teams and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. * Commercial mindset, generalist skills and strong expertise with a solutions-driven can-do attitude are an absolute must. * Our ideal candidate has a deeper knowledge in several legal fields relevant to our business, e.g. general contract law, e-commerce, consumer protection and competition law. * Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. * The type of person who rolls up their sleeves and gets to work. * Fluency in English.
