This role is positioned within our Volume Motor Litigation Unit which deals with motor litigation across MOJ, OICP, Small Claims
and Fast Track claims to the value of £25k. The unit is made up of distinct file handler teams managing the different work types
previously mentioned.
The unit offers clear progression pathways, both technically and operationally allowing candidates to continue their career
journey within the business.
The role of MOJ/OICP File Handler is within our or Part 8 Team manging a caseload of litigation MOJ and OICP portal cases up to a
value of £25k. Cases would be managed from the point of service through to resolution.
All claims would be handled on behalf of key insurer clients as Defendant.
The role would suit an established portal litigator looking for opportunities to progress their career longer term or
pre-litigation handler, paralegals or handling assistants looking to move into a litigated file handling role.
The role could also suit a law graduate looking for their first handling role.
Full induction training will be provided along with continued on the job training and supervision.

What you’ll do: * Manage key relationships, including those with external customers and business partners in addition to various internal departments with which you will work closely * Assist the fleet department in dealing with admin for the fleet vehicles * Take First Notice of Loss (FNOL) for new claims and transfer to accident management company * Remain compliant with MOJ, DPA, ABI, MIB as is required by law where applicable and company procedures. * Liaise with all parties involved including client driver, TP driver, relevant insurance companies, witnesses and any other applicable parties. * Provide high quality customer service with an awareness and understanding of customer requirements. * Deal with on- and off-hires where necessary and regularly check vehicles as required. * Accurately input data onto relevant computer database i.e. Eclipse Proclaim * Advise Claims Manager of Health & Safety issues * Ensure fair treatment of passengers, customers, Driver Partners and employees and act in a professional manner at all times. * Ensuring all relevant enquiries are made of any appropriate parties. * Communicating with all customers in a clear and proactive manner. * Maintain regular consistent and professional attendance, punctuality, and adherence to relevant health & safety procedures. * Ensure that customer, passenger, Driver Partner & employee information is safeguarded at all time, in line with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). * Maintain information security to a recognised required standard in line with business needs * Follow information security policies and procedures. * Ensure legal and contractual compliance. * Be committed to maintaining our ISO27001 certification and set high standards for Information Security compliance. Role Description The Business Development & Relationship Manager (Fiduciary Sectors – Scotland) plays a key role in expanding Allica’s presence across Scotland and the wider UK by acquiring, developing, and managing relationships with regulated professional firms, with a particular focus on the legal sector in Scotland. This is a highly commercial, outward‑facing role requiring deep understanding of the fiduciary landscape, strong relationship‑building capability, and the ability to articulate Allica’s proposition with clarity and confidence. The successful candidate will be responsible for generating new opportunities, overseeing the onboarding of regulated clients, maintaining long‑term relationships, and acting as a trusted subject‑matter expert for both clients and internal stakeholders. Principal Accountabilities * Identify, target, and convert new business opportunities with regulated professional services firms across Scotland and the wider UK. * Develop and execute a structured business‑development strategy, supported by data‑driven insights and CRM‑based pipeline management. * Represent Allica Bank at industry events, conferences, and professional networks, building strong relationships with solicitors, accountants, independent financial advisors, and other fiduciary‑related intermediaries. * Serve as the dedicated relationship lead for a portfolio of regulated clients, ensuring exceptional service at every stage of the relationship. * Support and oversee the onboarding of regulated entities, ensuring AML/KYC and other regulatory requirements are met efficiently and accurately. * Provide subject‑matter expertise on client‑money banking, AML/KYC expectations, and fiduciary‑sector practices * Work closely with Product, Compliance, Operations, and other internal teams to refine and enhance the fiduciary banking proposition. * Capture and escalate client feedback to inform product development, risk appetite considerations, and service improvements. * Assist in the creation of management information (MI), reports, and CRM‑driven insights for internal stakeholders. * Maintain up‑to‑date understanding of regulatory developments affecting the fiduciary sector (SRA, FCA, MoJ, AML changes, etc.). * Provide commercial insight to the wider bank on opportunities, risks, and market trends. * Support marketing initiatives by contributing sector expertise, case studies, and client‑led insights.
