Technical Support Engineer

productions in Hollywood, at the Coachella festival, and the Eurovision Song Contest. Our patented technologies deliver

unprecedented reliability for the most business-critical applications, and our products are now also used in permanent indoor and

outdoor lighting installations, as well as in building automation systems.

Replacing cables in buildings and lighting control systems with wireless communication makes installations easier, more flexible

and more cost-efficient. With rising demands for energy efficiency, wireless control has become a key enabler, making intelligent

control possible even where traditional cabling is not.

In our General Lighting team, we work with W-DALI and AirGlow to bring reliable wireless lighting control to real-world

environments, using existing DALI systems and without the need for cabling. In our Building Controls team, we work with W-Modbus

and W-BACnet to replace cables in buildings, such as HVAC systems and solar installations. You will be part of our R&D

organization, where we continuously develop and refine wireless communication technology.

We are looking for a Technical Support Engineer to join the team, supporting our DALI lighting control solutions, and building

automation products, W-Modbus and W-BACnet.

In this role, you will take ownership of post-sales technical support, working closely with customers such as lighting designers,

installers, electricians, and system integrators. You will operate mainly as a 2nd – 3rd line support function, collaborating with

distributors and internal development teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues, often related to configuration, system setup, and

interoperability. The role may also include handling RMA cases and supporting more complex investigations, occasionally on-site.

In addition to day-to-day support, you will contribute to improving support flows, documentation, and product quality by providing

structured feedback and technical insights to product management and development. You will play an important role in strengthening

the link between customer needs and our product organization.

The position is primarily based at the office in Gothenburg, with travels approximately 5–7 times per year for trade shows or

visiting customers around the world.

• Strong customer support skills; comfortable guiding customers, identifying root cause, and taking ownership until the problem

is resolved

• Hands-on experience in configuration and troubleshooting lighting installations and/or building control systems, preferably as

an installer or electrician

• A hands-on, curious mindset with interest in electronics (e.g. Arduino, soldering) as well as experience supporting electronics

manufacturers or hardware integration projects is a plus
