Job Description We are looking for a Platform Engineer to join a product-driven engineering environment where the platform is central to how software is built, deployed and operated. In this role you will work closely with product developers to create a reliable and scalable cloud platform that enables teams to deliver services quickly and safely. The focus is on automation, strong engineering practices and building systems that are easy to operate in production. This is a role for someone who enjoys working at the intersection of infrastructure, platform engineering and application development. You will join a collaborative engineering environment where platform engineering is a key part of the product architecture. The team values automation, reliability and strong engineering culture. What you will do You will help build and evolve the platform that powers a modern cloud-based product. Your work will include: Designing and operating infrastructure in AWS Improving and maintaining CI/CD pipelines Managing infrastructure Running and operating containerized workloads Improving observability and system insight Working closely with engineers building services in .NET Continuously improving deployment workflows, reliability and developer experience Who you are You enjoy working close to product teams and building platforms that make developers more productive. Requirements: AWS Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or similar) DevOps practices and CI/CD Docker and Kubernetes Monitoring and observability Working in environments where backend services are built in .NET / C# You are comfortable moving between infrastructure and application layers, and enjoy solving real production challenges. About the role As an Android Platform Engineer, you will work closely with our clients to develop and adapt Android at the system level. You will be involved end-to-end – from architecture and design to implementation and optimization of advanced embedded solutions. You will work in technology-intensive projects where quality, performance, and scalability are key. Assignments range from infotainment systems and automotive solutions to industrial applications and IoT. Your responsibilities Customize and develop the Android platform (AOSP) Work with HAL, Linux kernel, and system integration Drive architecture and design decisions together with team and client Troubleshoot and optimize performance across the full stack Ensure high quality through testing and code reviews Collaborate in cross-functional teams in agile environments We believe you have At least three years of experience in Android platform development (AOSP) Strong skills in C/C++ and/or Java/Kotlin Experience with Linux and embedded development Knowledge of system architecture and software design Experience with tools such as Git, Gerrit, and CI/CD Fluency in English (Swedish is a plus) Meritorious experience Experience from automotive or safety-critical systems Knowledge of BSP, drivers, or kernel development Experience with performance analysis and optimization Experience with cloud or IoT integration Preferred additional skills, personal traits and experience Curious and driven by technology, you are eager to learn and continuously grow within Android and embedded systems.
