Major offices in Sweden (HQ), Greece, India, Canada, Israel, Poland, UK, and Uruguay. The Role Etraveli Group is scaling agentic AI across software engineering, finance, sales analytics and beyond. To support this we are looking for an AI Solutions Engineer to serve as a primary technical point-of-contact for our AI initiatives. Together with AI Business Analysis that will identify what we should build, you are responsible for the How. You will both support prototyping and transforming concepts into robust, scalable and production-ready AI systems. Hence, you will bridge the gap between rapid PoCs and core engineering, ensuring all components are reliable, secure and deeply integrated into our tech ecosystem. You will also work closely with Data and Machine Learning Engineers, Product Managers, and business stakeholders across the organisation. This is not a purely technical role. The right person can understand the underlying business needs and answer questions on feasibility and delivering value by selecting the latest AI technologies, agentic frameworks and orchestration patterns that don’t just conceptually look good, but actually solve high-stakes complexities within Etraveli. The role can be based in Gothenburg or Athens. Duties and Responsibilities Architectural Design & Scoping Study project feasibility by evaluating if the available data will suffice for the intended AI solution Perform and communicate Cost-Benefit Analyses and identify factors which are crucial to the success of a given initiative Plan integrations and design how AI solutions will communicate to existing systems Select tools and decide whether to use LLM APIs (Claude, OpenAI, Gemini), agentic frameworks, integration tooling or a more custom-build solution Prototype Development Build functional versions of AI workflows to show stakeholders how they will work in the real world Facilitate integrations between LLMs and our internal data sources, APIs and other travel platforms Customise general AI products for specific in-house use cases Productionising AI workflows Wrap AI solutions in robust APIs and deploy them into our in-house cloud so other teams can use them Own the technical architecture for AI implementations, ensuring they are scalable, maintainable, and cost-effective Collaborate with DevOps and Security teams to ensure AI solutions meet enterprise-grade privacy and compliance standards Observe deployed LLM based solution, tracking usage and costs together with more technical metrics such as drift or latency Technical Consulting & Advocacy Stay on top of latest LLM and agentic AI developments and bring relevant capabilities to the attention of the team Lead technical evaluations of new frameworks with regard to their potential of enabling new initiatives Act as the technical subject matter expert for AI within the tech organization supporting the organisation's transition to working with LLMs and agentic AI tools – helping teams move from curiosity to confident, productive use Requirements 3–5 years with a solid foundation as a Machine Learning Engineer or Backend Engineer focused on ML systems Understanding of core architectural components in modern AI systems Proficiency in Python with the ability to build scalable high performance services and integrated complex ML and AI logic into production environments Proven experience in deploying open source LLMs on on-prem infrastructure or building using external LLMs Strong understanding of RAG, vector databases and the infrastructure required to support data-heavy AI applications Exposure to concepts like CI/CD and Orchestration and a basic understanding about service monitoring and alarms as well as secrets management Benefits Our office is located in Merkurhuset in Gothenburg, a few steps away from public transport and lunch restaurants. If you're someone who takes pride in precise, careful work and wants to be part of something that actually matters, read on.   What you'll actually do Assemble and test medical simulation products according to detailed technical specifications Operate production equipment and tools safely and correctly Follow standard operating procedures and work instructions — and flag it when something doesn't add up Perform quality checks on your own work and report defects clearly and accurately Keep your workstation and surroundings clean, organized, and safe Record production data accurately so the team always knows where things stand Contribute ideas and support initiatives that make the production process better over time   What you need to bring Around 2 years of experience in production, assembly, or a similar hands-on technical role Good manual dexterity and genuine attention to detail — you notice things others might miss Comfortable following technical instructions and working methodically A team-player attitude: dependable, open to feedback, and willing to ask when you're unsure Basic computer skills for production data recording Good communication in Swedish and/or English   Even better if you have Experience assembling or testing electronics, mechatronics, or precision hardware Familiarity with quality control procedures or ISO-regulated production environments Experience using ERP or production tracking systems   Where this can take you This is a real starting point, not a dead end.
