We are looking for a Logistics Engineer focused on projects and investigations. The assignment includes developing efficient material flows and logistics layouts in line with the plant’s objectives and lean principles. You will design logistics processes, optimize procedures, reduce waste, support problem solving and contribute to lower logistics costs. The role also involves implementing future material handling flows, initiating feasibility studies, supporting alignment with other plants, and providing logistics-related project input regarding areas such as costs, staffing, layouts and material flows.
The assignment requires strong communication skills and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, suppliers and international colleagues. You are analytical, solution-oriented and interested in manufacturing and logistics development, with the ability to work independently, take initiative and collaborate across teams. A fact-based approach, adaptability in a fast-paced environment and an interest in automation are important for the role.
Required Qualifications:
Swedish and English language proficiency.
Work experience involving relevant IS/IT tools.
Solid understanding of lean principles, structured problem solving and continuous improvement.
Background in logistics-related work, particularly within material supply and material handling.
Ability to take an overall view while making clear priorities.
Practical experience of, and interest in, automation connected to logistics flows.
Documented project management experience, including familiarity with project governance, structure and budget work.
It is considered meritorious if you have a college or university education in production engineering or logistics engineering.

What you will do
As a Senior Logistics Engineer, Projects and Investigations, you are responsible for planning, coordinating and driving logistics projects and investigations that improve material flows and the layout of logistics processes from suppliers to Tuve plant. You will organize and align input from several stakeholders, secure progress against agreed milestones, and help the team prioritize the right actions at the right time. Lean thinking is the foundation of your work, and you are committed to creating structure, momentum and engagement so that we can make our plant even better together.
Main activities and responsibilities for this role:
Plan, coordinate and deliver project gate input using PSM from all Tuve Logistics departments, securing clear ownership, timelines and follow-up on impacts such as costs, manning, layout and material flow.
Lead cross-functional work to design internal and external logistics processes using lean manufacturing concepts, while keeping stakeholders informed, engaged and aligned.
Define and drive strategies that optimize procedures, minimize waste, support problem solving and reduce logistics costs, with a strong focus on structure, prioritization and measurable progress.
Implement future material handling flows that support physical and electronic processes and documentation
Initiate, organize and follow up feasibility studies that support the plant masterplan, ensuring that scope, timing, risks and decisions are clear.
Secure commonality and alignment with other COT plants
Deliver well-structured impact studies and input to regional Logistics Project Managers, with clear conclusions, time plans and recommended next steps.

About the position as Mechanical Design Engineer
As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will work in a broad, hands-on role within product development, taking responsibility for the full lifecycle from early concept and design to final production release. The focus is on developing mechanical solutions for robotics and load handling systems, with a strong emphasis on new product development (R&D).
The role involves CAD modelling, detailed design, drawings, and dimensioning, as well as ensuring manufacturability through close collaboration with suppliers and customers. You will translate customer requirements into technical design solutions and develop mechanical systems such as load carriers, robotic interfaces, and motion or locking mechanisms.
You will be based at FlexQube’s headquarters in Mölndal and work closely with other mechanical engineers, as well as team members with expertise in hardware, software, electrical systems, and applications. The working approach is characterized by fast decision-making, practical hands-on work, and a strong technical presence.
Your main responsibilities:
Take ownership of the full mechanical design lifecycle, from early concept development to final production release, with a strong focus on R&D for robotics and load handling systems.
Develop CAD models, detailed designs, drawings, and dimensioning, while ensuring manufacturability through close collaboration with suppliers and customers.
Translate customer requirements into robust mechanical design solutions.
