We help our clients address challenges, and respond to opportunities around business integration, business performance, and climate and sustainability across all industry groups.  WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING * Finding business efficiencies and opportunities by reviewing operating models, technology and change strategies across finance and treasury, including: Operating Model Transformation, Technology, Data & ERP Strategy and People, Talent & Change * Enabling data based decisions so that Finance can add value and drive enterprise performance right across the organisation, including: Business Insights, Integrated Planning and Forecasting & Scenario Modelling * Helping embed sustainability into finance, respond to regulatory requirements, and anticipate and respond to consumer and investor sentiment, including: Investor Relations & Financing, Carbon Budgeting and Disclosures * At this time, we have a particular interest in candidates who are passionate about: * Technology-driven Finance and Treasury transformation * EPM processes and tools * End-to-end Finance process improvement and automation  YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE * You will be a passionate and curious finance and treasury professional with a background in consultancy or experience in a project focused role within industry - FS and non FS clients are both of interest * You will need to have excellent relationship building and communication skills, and experience of working well in teams * You will need to have a strong understanding of finance and treasury transformation projects with project / programme experience across the full project lifecycle and the ability to take ownership, provide a point of view and deliver results in challenging, client-facing environment * You would benefit from having Tier 1 ERP experience, with knowledge of what good looks like    WHAT A CAREER AT BARINGA WILL GIVE YOU  PUTTING PEOPLE FIRST. WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING As part of our team, you will work closely with clients on the following types of challenging, high-impact engagements:   * Strategy & Commercial Advisory – US market entry and establishment, commercial trading & hedging strategy, commercial collaboration models, book structure & transfer pricing * Business Capability Development – trading capability assessment & benchmarking, trading capability design, operating & organization design, business process design, business change program planning, business & IT readiness & training, operational excellence * Risk & Regulatory Advisory – risk strategy definition, risk management policy design, risk capability assessment & design (market, credit, operational, climate, etc.), regulatory & compliance capability assessment & design (KYC, AML, trade surveillance, etc.) * Data & Analytics Advisory – data & analytics strategy / architecture design, data & analytics solution design & delivery * Technology Advisory & Transformation – technology strategy & architecture design, IT operating model design, technology capability building, technology program QA & health checks, vendor selection & implementation YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE Our Senior Consultant role requires 4+ years experience in a consulting or industry role, with experience in Commodity & Energy Trading initiatives. We are seeking individuals with strong client delivery and relationship-building skills, coupled with deep advisory expertise in the following areas:  * Experience in crude oil, refined products, natural gas liquids (NGLs), petrochemicals, and freight trading markets * Comprehensive understanding of the energy and petrochemicals value chains * Capability assessments and target operating model development for trading organizations * Experience in leading business and IT transformation programs, including change management * Experience in advisory support for market entry and trading readiness initiatives * Knowledge of risk management frameworks and regulatory compliance * Experience in strategy, design, and implementation of advanced analytics platforms for trading organizations * Experience in client-side advisory for modernizing trading systems, with a focus on market leading vendor solutions such as OpenLink, RightAngle, along with others WHAT A CAREER AT BARINGA WILL GIVE YOU  PUTTING PEOPLE FIRST.
