RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES * Drive demand forecasting, production planning, and material requirements for PCBA production through collaboration with cross-functional teams. * Plan, schedule, and monitor delivery to ensure material readiness adheres to established production schedules and delivery commitments. * Analyse material readiness, identify and resolve supply and demand imbalances, ensuring timely finished goods delivery. * Perform scenario analysis to evaluate the impact of production capacity, material availability, demand fluctuations, and cost factors. * Prepare periodic material-related reports for the management team, accompanied by insightful analysis and proposed resolutions. * Develop benchmark metrics and generate reports to monitor and evaluate supply chain performance and critical metrics. CANDIDATE PROFILE Essential: * Over 5 years in supply chain management, preferably within the high-tech industry. * Understanding of material planning processes and familiarity with EE component suppliers and OEM/ODM partners. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions. * Proficiency in Excel (including VBA), data modelling, automation, ERP systems, and data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Superset. * Proficiency in English and Chinese is highly preferred due to the location and potential interaction with local suppliers and OEM partners. * Strong communication and reporting skills. We seek a Technical Sourcing Manager reporting to the Supply Chain Director, accountable for strategic sourcing of PCBA components, supplier relations, and commercial results across important hardware categories. Located in Taipei, the team partners closely with regional suppliers and internal collaborators to guarantee an efficient, high-quality, and consistent supply of components vital for hardware production. THE TEAM The position will be within the Supply Chain team at Graphcore. This team belongs to the Operations group and includes members located in Bristol and Taiwan. The team handles the creation and oversight of a strong manufacturing subcontract supply chain for Graphcore. RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES * Responsible for sourcing PCBA components, including supplier identification, evaluation, and selection. * Negotiate commercial agreements, pricing, and contracts with suppliers to achieve cost, quality, and delivery objectives. * Manage supplier relationships, acting as the primary point of contact for key vendors. * Partner with engineering and manufacturing teams to support new product introduction and build for supply chain considerations. * Drive cost optimization initiatives including value engineering and competitive sourcing strategies. * Monitor supplier performance against important metrics and implement improvement plans where required. * Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, ensuring continuity of supply for critical components. * Work together with quality teams to resolve supplier quality problems and promote corrective measures. * Analyze market trends, component availability, and pricing to inform sourcing strategies. * Lead and develop procurement processes, tools, and guidelines within the team. ABOUT THE ROLE The Reliability Engineer will be working with the Peloton Hardware Design and Operations teams to lead our new product qualification testing and on-going reliability testing in a fast-growing global fitness business. You will lead Projects, troubleshoot, innovate, and make decisions to help Peloton ensure quality and safety as we continue to innovate our product offerings. You are an individual who is independent, highly motivated, super organized, hyper-flexible and enjoys working in a collaborative team environment to improve product quality. YOUR DAILY IMPACT AT PELOTON * Build and maintain test plans for new product development and sustaining engineering activities, including sample size estimation and reliability goal * Perform product validation and verification with off-the-shelf testing equipment as well as custom built machinery. Lead the execution to keep the schedule on track * Manage ODM/OEM partners’ lab and third party lab to complete test task with their own test resource * Lead test development projects.Design, build, and automate custom test rigs/fixtures to interact with various pieces of exercise equipment * Deliver Validation status and results regularly to facilitate tracking the progress with cross functional team * Summarize Validation result with field failure rate estimation to help crossfunctional team understand the margin impact * Correspond with NY and Seattle based team with test reports and status updates, which will require morning/evening calls * Provide technical support to technicians for various testing activities * Actively perform preliminary root cause/failure analysis to collaborate with & drive cross functional team to resolution * Utilize statistical tools to compile the result into impact to real world application * Work multi-functionally with other departments and prioritize work queues through scoping the request and capturing business impact * Standardize test documentation, including fixtures, test procedures, schematics and software program. Supervise and implement test processes and data flow * Ensure safety protocols are followed & maintain lab equipment and inventory YOU BRING TO PELOTON * 3- 5+ years relevant work experience of systematic product testing * Education and/or equivalent work experience in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering - M.S. preferred * Excellent communication skills, including Chinese, and English (Taiwanese preferred) * 3D Modeling (Solidworks).
