OPPORTUNITY We are seeking a highly motivated Associate to join our consulting team and help drive transformational sustainability projects across industries, geographies, and systems. As an Associate, you will play a critical role in delivering client engagements, generating actionable insights, managing workstreams, and supporting stakeholder relationships. You will work alongside multidisciplinary teams to solve complex challenges related to climate, circular economy, sustainable finance, food systems, energy transition, nature, and urban transformation. This role is ideal for professionals with previous experience in consulting, strategy, sustainability, economics, public policy, finance, or related fields who are eager to combine analytical rigor with real-world impact. RESPONSIBILITIES * Lead discrete workstreams within consulting projects, ensuring high-quality and timely delivery. * Conduct quantitative and qualitative analyses to generate actionable insights and recommendations. * Structure complex problems, develop hypotheses, and synthesize findings into clear and compelling narratives. * Build and manage financial, economic, market, and operational models to support strategic decision-making. * Develop client-ready presentations, reports, and workshop materials. * Support and contribute to stakeholder interviews, workshops, and coalition-building efforts. * Manage project activities, timelines, and deliverables across workstreams. * Contribute to business development activities, including proposal preparation, market research, and opportunity identification. * Leverage AI-enabled tools and emerging technologies to improve research, analysis, productivity, and knowledge synthesis. REQUIREMENTS * Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Economics, Business Administration, Environmental Sciences, Public Policy, International Relations, Finance, or related fields. * 2–5 years of relevant professional experience in strategy consulting, sustainability consulting, corporate strategy, public sector advisory, sustainable finance, or related fields. * Demonstrated experience managing analytical workstreams and delivering high-quality outputs in complex projects. * Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, including experience working with large and complex datasets. * Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills. * Fluency in English is mandatory. * Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills. * Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within multidisciplinary and international teams. * Intellectual curiosity and the ability to quickly learn and navigate new topics. * Interest in sustainability and systems transformation, including climate, circular economy, nature, food systems, energy transition, urban systems, and sustainable finance. * Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL is considered a plus. Ideally your background includes working at a leading management consultancy or in a strategy role in industry, public sector or civil society. We work with both global blue chip clients, public-private partnerships and ground-breaking new ventures. Recent initiatives include advising on circular economy in Germany, developing go-to-market strategies for new technologies as well as forest restoration and preventing ocean plastic pollution in South East Asia. Requirements * Very strong analytical skills with high level of comfort and enthusiasm for building dynamic excel models and synthesising large data sets * For Project Manager specific roles, you will have previous experience leading teams on strategy consulting projects * Ability to work in a stand-alone capacity and deliver a defined output * Strong problem solving and structuring skills, delivering intuitive presentations of complex data * Intellectual curiosity and an interest to quickly dive into new topics, * Skills and experience of relationship management on a senior level, * Collaborative team player and can-do attitude, * Entrepreneurial spirit with the ability to identify opportunities and new initiatives and to turn them into reality. Your Role As a Associate Talent Acquisition Manager, you'll help build the teams that power FINN's growth. You'll own hiring processes from end to end, partnering closely with hiring managers to identify, attract, assess, and hire exceptional talent. From your first day, you'll join a collaborative and ambitious Talent Acquisition team where learning, ownership, and continuous improvement are part of everyday work. You'll play a key role in ensuring every candidate has an outstanding experience while maintaining the high hiring bar that defines FINN's culture and success. This role is about much more than filling open positions - it's about shaping the future of our company through every hiring decision. And because we believe the best collaboration happens when we're together, this role requires a regular onsite presence at our Munich office.
