Following our successful Series A, we’re expanding our team - and looking for an experienced incident & operations specialist to build the foundations, structures, and processes of this newly formed function as we rapidly scale and onboard more assets each month. YOUR MISSION * Monitor trading alerts and dashboards, investigate anomalies, and drive quick, priority‑based resolution. * Coordinate seamlessly across Tech, Trading, Operations, partners, and customer technical contacts with clear, fast communication. * Execute manual trades when automation is limited and support new asset onboarding during testing and ramp‑up. * Create and update incident tickets, ensure follow‑through, and document actions and outcomes cleanly and reliably. * Improve playbooks and processes to boost scalability, consistency, and audit readiness. * Collaborate closely with Portfolio Management, Customer Success, Product, and Tech to feed operational insights into product and system improvements. YOUR PROFILE * You have strong situational judgment from high‑tempo environments like Trading, Tech Ops, Control Room Ops, Incident Management, or similar roles * You think analytically and in systems, quickly interpreting complex asset and market behavior, spotting anomalies, and making clear priority calls * You stay calm and structured under pressure, managing several high‑impact incidents in parallel * You’re fluent with monitoring and alert‑driven tools (e.g., Grafana) and understand simple automation logic, incl. automated trading behavior * You communicate clearly and directly, especially in urgent situations, and work smoothly with technical partners and customer contacts * You work with precision and ownership, following rules, documenting cleanly, and acting with a service‑oriented mindset * You learn fast, especially when it comes to energy markets, automated strategies, grid basics, and asset performance metrics * You operate confidently in German and English (C1) and can join a 24/7 on‑call rotation in Hamburg WHY US? * Shape the Future: Help drive the energy transition with us! Position Objective: The purpose of this position is to administer activities and process transactions for the Payroll area. Responsibilities: Gather, validate, and maintain data and other transaction inputs Enter transactions in PeopleSoft and the service request management tool Retrieve, index, and review scanned documents and forms Provide satisfactory customer service by receiving, analyzing, researching, and seeking resolution to assigned inquiries Integrate across teams to document, research, and resolve basic issues and errors as assigned. Understand when to resolve or escalate to supervisor Perform/support cyclical processing and period-end activities Complete assignments as delegated by Supervisor Comply with MTA and BSC policies, practices, and procedures Understand the MTA and BSC vision including how individual responsibilities fit into the long-term strategies Track and report status of work Maintain an appropriate level of process, functional, and technical knowledge and participate in training to continue to develop such knowledge Support other team members as appropriate Ensure that all assignments are completed with the highest quality and within agreed-to Service Level Agreement guidelines and Key Performance Indicator targets Adhere to team budget Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives as assigned Participate in user groups as necessary Required Qualifications: Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Possess specific work experience in Payroll and knowledge of Payroll processes Working knowledge and use of PeopleSoft or related database software Ability to process requests consistently with general supervision Ability to assess problems and promptly resolve or identify an appropriate team to resolve Strong oral and written communication skills Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work with and collaborate across the BSC at all levels within and outside the organization Strong time management skills and ability to manage individual assignments Ability to work in a team environment Strong attention to detail Ability to handle sensitive situations and maintain a high degree of confidentiality Preferred Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Understanding of MTA Finance policies, practices, and procedures Familiarity with performance metrics and ability to meet identified targets Working knowledge of service request management tools Working knowledge and use of office productivity tools (e.g., MS Outlook, MS Office applications) and web-based applications Shared Services experience preferred Required Education and Experience: High School Diploma or GED One (1) year work experience in Payroll, Accounting, Finance, HR, IT, Procurement or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience in data analytics. Preferred Education and Experience : Bachelor's or Associate’s Degree with relevant experience in Business or related field. A Master's degree may substitute for required experience, not to exceed two years.
