About the Role
As a Senior Product Acceleration Specialist, you will play a critical role in driving Okta's long-term product success by
strategically validating, deploying, and driving global adoption of New Product Introductions (NPIs). Serving as a high-impact
technical subject matter expert, you will act as a key advisory link between Okta Research and Development (ORD), Go-To-Market
(GTM) field teams, and our most strategic Global 2000 (G2K) enterprise accounts.
While you will utilize a cutting-edge lab environment to test integration patterns and validate complex identity scenarios, your
primary focus is to serve as the master of new features. You will dive deep into emerging capabilities—particularly across
Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) and Privileged Access Management (PAM)—to uncover feature gaps, identify market
opportunities, and establish the blueprints that accelerate product adoption at scale.

1. Security & Specialized Identity Depth: Deep domain knowledge and hands-on experience in Privileged Access Management (PAM) and
Identity Governance and Administration (IGA). Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., NIST, PCI-DSS) and access
control models (RBAC, ABAC) is highly preferred.
2. Identity Protocol Expertise: Strong foundational knowledge of identity federation and user management protocols, including
SAML 2.0, OAuth, OpenID Connect, and SCIM. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Solutions (Active Directory, AD CS, ADFS) and Entra
ID is a plus.
3. Cloud & Infrastructure Foundation: Solid understanding of enterprise cloud architectures, SaaS landscapes, and cloud-based
networking constructs (e.g., AWS VPC, Azure Virtual Networking, or Google VPC). Experience installing and configuring server
operating systems (Windows, Linux).
4. AI Tooling & Efficiency: Strong experience and interest in utilizing AI tools and Large Language Models (LLMs) to drive
individual and team efficiencies. Ability to leverage AI to accelerate technical documentation, automate script generation
(e.g., Python, PowerShell), or streamline complex troubleshooting and log analysis workflows.
1. Strategic Mindset & Agility: Proven ability to multitask and manage multiple concurrent, complex integration projects
simultaneously while prioritizing tasks and resources effectively.
2. Communication Skills: Exceptional ability to present complex technical information clearly to both technical engineering teams
