Manager, Commissions Operations We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Manager, Commissions Operations to join our team in Bangalore, India. The Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing the commissions operations process, ensuring accurate and timely calculation and payment of commissions to our sales team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commissions operations management, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. The candidate must possess excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills. This role is required to work the EMEA shift, except during critical close periods, when the individual must be available to work extended hours until 2:00 AM IST. Responsibilities: * Oversee the end-to-end commissions operations process, including commission calculations, data validation, and payment processing. * Help develop and maintain commissions policies, procedures, and guidelines in compliance with company policies and applicable laws and regulations. * Collaborate with Sales Ops, Sales, FP&A, Commissions Accounting, Audit, and HR teams on commissions data, such as sales performance, quotas, earnings, payments, and other relevant information. * Analyze and reconcile commissions data to ensure accuracy and resolve any discrepancies. * Generate and distribute commissions reports and statements to sales team members and management. * Guide and support sales team members on commissions-related inquiries, disputes, and escalations. Managerial Responsibilities: * Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes related to commissions operations, and implement necessary changes to ensure compliance. * Train and mentor team members, as needed. * Drive process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of commissions operations. Requirements: * Education & Certifications: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Engineering. Professional certifications like CA or CPA are highly preferred. We are also open to candidates from other educational backgrounds, provided they have direct, relevant experience in commissions management. * Core Experience: A minimum of 8 years of progressive professional experience, including at least 4 years operating within the fast-paced SaaS or software sector. * Functional Expertise: Extensive experience leading global commissions operations. * Systems & Tools: 4+ years of experience with Xactly (or similar tool); proficiency with Salesforce, Workday, NetSuite, Excel, and Google Suite preferred. * Cross-Functional Skills: Experience supporting various sales teams required. * Leadership & Soft Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with a proven ability to mentor junior team members and work independently in a fast-paced environment. We seek an Experienced Sales Commissions Analyst to support a high-visibility FP&A function for this remote work opportunity. This opportunity requires working independently to manage complex commission and bonus analysis while working with large, disparate data sets. The role requires strong judgment, diligence, and the confidence to communicate findings and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
