Based in Amsterdam (with potential travels within Europe), you will carry out consulting engagements or manage projects for

prestigious clients, leaders in Asset and Wealth Management (Asset Managers, Private Banks, Investor Services Providers) in areas

including:

Role Requirements (Skills, Experience and Qualifications):

A minimum of 7-10 years proven experience in the delivery of consulting or change projects, gained within a leading financial

institution or consulting firm

Significant experience within Financial Services organisations, preferably Asset or Wealth Managers
Experience of projects engaged on Target Operating Model, business processes and/or IT solutions in some of the following

areas: Distribution, CRM, Portfolio management & Risk management, Middle & Back Office processes and outsourcing

Expertise on Performance Measurement and Risk (PMAR) is a plus for this position.
Demonstrable proficiency in relationship development and client account management
A network of executive contacts across the industry and proven experience of Business Development
Senior stakeholder management and influencing skills, demonstrated with clients and colleagues
Ability to show initiative when dealing with clients, form strong relationships with new clients, and maintain existing

relationships

Superb interpersonal skills, with ability to influence and lead
The ability to proffer good mentorship and coaching skills towards other team members
An in-depth understanding of market trends, drivers and outlook of the Asset and Wealth Management market
First-class communication, presentation and problem-solving skills
Fluency in Dutch and English is required. As we operate internationally other languages (French, German) is a preference.

Roles and Responsibilities As a Manager, you will be based in Alpha’s Amsterdam office as part of our European team that is assisting Asset and Wealth management institutions in optimising their Operating Models by supporting them in Target Operating Model definitions, vendor selections and implementation or optimisation of solutions. You may be leading a workstream within a larger program; or helping to drive projects and produce deliverables for smaller projects alongside a small team of other Alpha resources. Over the course of each project, you will collect and analyze data, prepare and test hypotheses, and present recommendations to the client to solve their unique business challenge. You’ll be playing a proactive leadership role in driving our programs forward and engaging directly with senior client stakeholders to solve their business challenges.
