Unity Catalog is our platform native unified and open governance for data and AI. It eliminate silos, simplify governance and accelerate insights at scale. We are looking for a Senior Staff Software Engineer to come tech lead Unity Catalog Runtime Enforcement. We build and harden the runtime enforcement layer for Unity Catalog, ensuring secure, consistent authorization and data access across Databricks compute, engines, and clouds. This reduces incidents and simplifies customer choices by unifying enforcement semantics.  The impact you will have: * Lead and grow and engineering team delivering runtime enforcement outcomes in a high-severity, cross-org domain; establish scope, SLAs, and phased roadmaps. * Establish single-source-of-truth scope, operating model, and durable mechanisms for enforcement. * Lead multi-year, multi-team initiatives that shape how Databricks enforces Unity Catalog at runtime across compute types and engines. * Introduce tools to allow greater automation and operability of services. * Use your deep experience to help prevent and investigate production issues. * Plan and lead complicated technical projects that work with several teams within the company. * Contribute as a technical team lead by mentoring others, lead sprint planning, delegating work and assignments to team members and participate in project planning. In this role, you will drive business development and sales growth by providing technical expertise, competitive positioning, and product evaluation support to prospective customers for the OneTrust AI-ready governance platform. YOUR MISSION * Serve as technical expert on systems integrations during major sales opportunities, including the preparation and delivery of proposals, product demonstrations, RFPs and custom proof-of-concepts evaluations to demonstrate OneTrust’s integration capabilities to meet client objectives  * Instrumental in technical deep dive discussions to architect integrations and advice customers on best practices  * Support Sales Teams with client meetings, presentations, and custom integration design options  * Coordinates with internal R&D, technical integrations, partner integrations teams to stay on top of product capabilities as well as future direction  * Conduct custom proof-of-concepts evaluations to demonstrate OneTrust’s integration capabilities to meet client objectives  * You will have a clear understanding of the privacy industry, including regulatory environment, and will use this knowledge to support all of the primary responsibilities. To thrive in this role, you will keep up with industry trends, competitive landscape and customer needs.   YOUR EXPERIENCE INCLUDES * BA/BS in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent   * 2+ years of relevant experience, ideally in the technology industry and/or an Enterprise Cloud-based Software company  * Expertise selling, configuring and delivering software demonstrations  * Expertise with implementing software products or solutions to enterprise companies  * Ability to build relationships across stakeholders in R&D, marketing, sales and engineering  * Strong entrepreneurial skills to excel in a complex and rapidly evolving environment * Willingness to travel, as job requires (Estimated 10-20%)   NICE TO HAVE * Hands on experience with REST APIs, JavaScript, FreeMarker, HTML, CSS.
