Define and design test specifications, procedures, and setups for subsystem qualification (structures, mechanisms, units, components, actuators). Correlate FE models (e.g., fundamental frequencies, damping coefficients) with actual test results. Assist in planning and budgeting for future programs and projects. Design, assemble, and test mechanical ground support equipment (MGSE) for integration and test activities. Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance within the team. Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Space Engineering, or related disciplines. Minimum of 10 years of experience in design and testing environments related to CAD, mechanical FEM analysis, and design. Proven ability to lead and inspire teams and/or groups, driving projects forward. Experience within ESA projects. Good knowledge of the ECSS. Expertise with NASTRAN,Altair, Hypermesh, Optistruct Proficiency in FEM analysis, particularly in random vibration response, shock, and loads analysis. Ability to generate, read, and understand mechanical design/analysis reports and Interface Control Documents (ICDs). Clear and coherent reporting and presentation skills in English. About the Role We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Automotive Software Engineer to join our engineering team.
