WE'RE UNLOCKING ACCESS TO THE NHS, BECAUSE HEALTHCARE IS NOT TRULY FREE UNTIL IT'S TRULY ACCESSIBLE 💙 The world’s best healthcare, for free. It's not a new idea, it's called the NHS. But the largest healthcare provider is fundamentally broken. Patient satisfaction is at an all time low, and the biggest reason cited is lack of access. So we’re on a mission to fix it with technology that actually works. We're building the front door of UK healthcare, creating a future where one billion NHS appointments are transparent and instantly bookable, and patients are guided to the right service first time using AI. We're developing critical national infrastructure. Today, 26% of GP practices in England use our patient registration software, while one in five GP practices in London use Bookable Search to help new patients find and book appointments seamlessly. Our latest product, Bookable Navigator, extends this vision by automatically booking appointments for existing patients. We operate from within a working GP practice in East London 🏥 We're backed by Y Combinator, Innovate UK and the NHS Clinical Entrepreneur Programme, and were previously ranked the 8th fastest-growing startup in the UK and 33rd fastest-growing in Europe 🚀 ⛩️ OUR PRINCIPLES Exciting challenges lie ahead. Guided by our principles, we’ll meet these challenges with a thoughtful and caring approach. These principles drive everything we do at Healthtech-1: 1. 💙 Care deeply 2. 🏋️♀️ Work hard 3. 🤝 Be your word 4. 💬 Trust in radical truth and transparency 5. 🚀 Do your life's best work 6. 🥳 Find the fun Read more about our principles and our "why" in the Healthtech-1 Handbook. Why this role matters 35% of NHS staff time is spent on admin. That’s the opportunity. Our first product is already used by 26% of GP practices in England, and we’re now scaling a platform that transforms how patients and clinicians interact with healthcare. As one of our Senior Product Engineers ,you’ll own and shape the experiences used every day by patients and clinicians where performance, clarity, and reliability directly impact care. WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR We're reimagining how technology, data, and AI can empower every team across the business. You'll help build the platforms, tooling, and guardrails that enable teams to move faster while maintaining the highest standards of quality, security, and reliability. Our goal is to make it possible for anyone in the company to safely bring ideas to life and see their impact in production. Some of the challenges you'll tackle include: * Designing modern engineering workflows that accelerate delivery, increase autonomy, and improve developer experience across the organisation. * Building shared tools and platforms that make information accessible, discoverable, and actionable for every team. * Connecting knowledge across departments, enabling insights from customer conversations, support interactions, product discussions, and operational meetings to be surfaced whenever and wherever they're needed. * Creating a unified, queryable data ecosystem that breaks down silos and allows people to ask meaningful questions across the entire business. * Leveraging AI and automation to uncover opportunities, identify trends, and surface insights before anyone even knows to ask the question. * Developing systems that amplify the impact of individuals and teams by sharing best practices, highlighting successful approaches, and accelerating the adoption of new ideas across the company. This is an opportunity to work on foundational technology that influences how the entire organisation collaborates, learns, and delivers value to customers Our Tech Stack: * Fullstack (Backend leaning): React, TypeScript (core focus) * APIs: Designing and consuming scalable, well-structured services * Data: Working with production systems and performance considerations * AI: Integrating modern AI models into real-world healthcare workflows * Experience in scaling product environments or high-stakes domains (health, finance, infra) is a strong advantage. We’re based inside a GP practice, so you can walk downstairs and see the real-world impact of your work. Why join our engineering team: * Build technology that actually matters at national scale * Solve complex, meaningful problems with real-world constraints * Work in a high-performing, product-led team * Have real ownership, real responsibility, and real impact 💙 A BIT ABOUT US 💙 We’re all NHS staff. We’re inside-outsiders. Trusted with one of the biggest datasets in the world. 🏥 Our office is within a GP practice. This is our unfair advantage. Got a question? Pop down the corridor. Want to learn how your work affects real patients? Pop downstairs to reception. 💪🏼 4 days in the office and 1 day WFH (for most roles). We highly prioritise in-person communication and prefer candidates who want to work 4+ days a week in the office. Our anchor days are Mon, Tues, Thurs and Fri. Homemade breakfast and lunch are on the house every day when you're in the office, ensuring you're fuelled for success! 🌀 We work in growth cycles. Every 8 weeks we do the same set of activities. 1 week outside of Business-as-Usual to research, strategise, plan our work. 7 weeks to knuckle down and deliver it. 🤝 We’re highly collaborative. One of the benefits of a high trust team is we often work autonomously, but as a team we’re very collaborative by nature. Two heads are often better than one, and we frequently lean on each other to solve problems together. 🤜🏽 We’re backed by industry leaders. We’re on the DigitalHealth.London Accelerator, backed by the NHS Clinical Entrepreneur Program, winners of the London Business School Healthtech Challenge, Innovate UK, and Y Combinator (S23). 🚀 AN OPPORTUNITY FOR REAL UPSIDE 💉 Paid volunteer days. We offer an additional 2 paid days off per year where you can give back to your mission of choice. 🎢 Every 8 weeks we take a day off to socialise as a team. In the past we’ve hiked box hill, raved at All Points East and spent one rainy day at Thorpe park. This works out as 6 working days a year. 📚 Learning budget of £250 annually and time off to spend it - we care about this; this is flexible and based on need but everyone will receive a yearly allocation towards their continual growth. 🍽️ Homemade breakfast and lunch are on the house when you're in the office, ensuring you're fuelled for success! 🥡 Team takeaways every Monday night 🥗 Health and fitness budget of £60 per month - see more here 🧘♂️ An additional 7 days of paid leave is available if you want to take time to learn how to meditate. 💫 Tooling; You’ll have your choice of operating systems and any additional tools you need to do your best work (e.g. keyboard, additional monitors, mouse etc). If you’re on our Engineering teams you’ll receive the latest MacBook Pro and our Growth & Ops teams receives a MacBook Air. 🩺 We know health and family come first which is why we have a generous sick leave policy with additional days that can be taken for mental health leave. ✈️ We prioritise time outside of work to bond, once a year we’ll holiday together! Destination chosen by popular vote. In 2025, we spent 8 days in a surf camp in France! 👎 No private medical insurance, because we believe in the NHS and we are here to improve it! 🐥 Parental leave: Post passing probation it is: statutory - 6 weeks 90% pay then, SMP for 33 weeks; if you've been an employee for a year: 12 weeks 100% pay then, SMP for 27 weeks; and if you have been here for 2 years: 18 weeks 100% pay then, SMP for 21 weeks. This will improve over time. We also include up to £9,000 of childcare contribution for primary caregivers to support a five-day return where possible. 👪 Fertility leave. We understand how difficult a fertility journey can be. This is why we give an extra 5 days off per year if you or your partner are going through fertility treatment. 🐖 Pension - We operate a standard 3% employer contribution and employees auto-contribute 5% of their salary. We use Nest as our provider. 🏡 Local living benefit - A one-off benefit to support living closer to the office: £5,000 if you live within a 30-minute walk, or £2,500 within a 30-minute bike. It is optional, available immediately on signing, and not linked to performance or progression. 🚕 If you choose to work late in the office, you can expense dinner after 7pm and an Uber home after 9pm, or earlier if you feel unsafe travelling in the dark. This is optional and about wellbeing, not performance or expectations. ⛵️And of course, an adventure of a lifetime! 🌈 INCLUSIVE & DIVERSE BY DESIGN We care about building a product that is loved and a culture that is rich in perspectives, experiences, and backgrounds. Our team represents more than ten different cultures. We come together every lunch time for a home cooked meal, rotated among team members! We want everyone in our team to know that they belong. We are purposeful about this and are proactively building a company that is inclusive of all people; from race, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, neurodiversity, disability, colour, and national origin - essentially every type of diversity. We don’t just want people who fit in, we want them to fit together. We're active in continually improving the way we make this happen.

We are looking for a Director of Data Driven Impact who will build a brand-new department dedicated to scaling up and making the most of where new technology could be taking us - and to help steer complex, cross-functional projects that touch many parts of the company at once. This is a senior role, part of the global Information Systems management team, reporting to our CIO. Do you want to work for a company where the demands are high, the atmosphere is warm, and the opportunities are enormous? Who is your future team? Information Systems is Axis's largest cross-functional department, intensely woven into every part of the company. Managers at Axis are one of the team, with a lot of focus on coaching colleagues and helping people get the best out of their own abilities. The level of knowledge here is high, and we are happy to share what we know. At the same time, we are unpretentious, and we hope you will teach us something in return. Axis is a global company with a presence in 180 countries and our own staff in 52 of them. Much of the work happens here in Lund, but its reach is company-wide and global - the initiatives you shape will cross departments, regions, and systems. We who will become your colleagues are glad and confident. You will shape a team with three distinctly different competences. First, project management - to give shape, pace, and direction to initiatives that span the whole company. Second, a senior developer team with deep knowledge of Axis and of our cross-functional systems and information flows; their job is to increase speed across departments and silos while keeping a clear-eyed understanding of the consequences of every change. And third, a group of data stewards who maintain and manage the information structures we need to make the most of automation and AI going forward. What you'll do here as Director of Data Driven Impact You will build and head a new department whose job is to help Axis get the most out of fast-moving technology, AI very much included, and to take on the complex initiatives that no single department owns on its own. These are the projects where many departments must pull together, where the environment is tangled with big dependencies, and where someone needs to hold the whole picture in view while change is happening across the company at speed. Axis is growing so fast that this can sometimes feel like changing the engine on a rocket that is still climbing - at full speed, with no plans to slow down. That is exactly the kind of challenge this role is built for. Build and head a new department with three competence areas: project management, a senior developer team, and data stewards Own complex, cross-functional initiatives where complexity is high and the dependencies between things are higher still Help Axis make the most of new technology, AI very much included Contribute to moving the department towards ownership of whole information flows - finding new ways to integrate systems, building a flexible environment where data can be shared freely, and putting that foundation to work through everything from automation to machine-learning-based prediction models Collaborate across departments, regions, and silos - bringing people with you rather than steering around them Support technology planning, prioritization, and investment decisions Take good care of your staff and make the most of limited resources Who are we looking for? We think you are forward-looking and proactive, genuinely comfortable in complexity, and motivated rather than daunted by big dependencies and many moving parts. You are used to collaborating in a global, multicultural environment, and you are good at bringing people with you across departments and silos. You read where technology is heading, and you are not afraid to act on it. You adapt as conditions shift and keep guiding with both compassion and result orientation. It matters that you communicate well and have a real ability to understand and solve problems from many different perspectives. You bring documented management experience and the ability to balance demands from many different stakeholders at once, holding short-term delivery and long-term development in focus at the same time. You will also need to define success as the company succeeding - even when that happens without you winning every discussion. We'd love to hear that you have: Documented management experience, including managing and developing teams The ability to balance demands from many stakeholders, holding short-term delivery and long-term development in focus at the same time Experience coordinating complex, cross-functional initiatives in a global organization A strong understanding of how technology, data, and information flows create business value A coaching leadership style - you take good care of your staff and make the most of limited resources Bonus points if you also bring: Experience building a new team or department from the ground up Familiarity with AI, automation, or data-informed approaches in an enterprise context Ready to Act? Axis is a company realizing the benefits of a diverse workforce. We know that diversity in groups creates a better working environment and promotes creativity, something that is fundamental for our success. We welcome all applications. Vacation is important! At Axis we value work-life balance and that means that during summer many of us are on a well-deserved vacation. During this period of time, you can expect some delay in our response, but we will get back to you as soon as possible! Want to know more about the role, your future colleagues, or Axis as a company? Mentimeter is an engagement tool with a clear goal in mind. To turn presentations into conversations. Through real-time interactivity and clear visualizations, we get people to participate, engage and become more productive. Transforming all those passive meetings, airless classrooms and drawn out trainings into valuable and memorable moments. We truly believe that you achieve the best results by doing things together. And that successful leaders need to adopt a curious and collaborative mindset in order to get there. So with you at Mentimeter, you’ll be a big part of the ambition to help over 1 billion people listen, learn and work better together. SUMMER HIRING NOTICE: DUE TO SUMMER VACATIONS, WE WILL BEGIN THE REVIEWING AND INTERVIEWING PROCESS FOR THIS ROLE FROM AUGUST. HOWEVER, WE ENCOURAGE YOU TO SUBMIT YOUR APPLICATION AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. THE ROLE Mentimeter is a profitable, product-led growth (PLG) business. Millions of people use Menti to make meetings, lectures, and presentations interactive. The next chapter takes us from a single-tool product to a multi-product engagement suite, with self-service driving the majority of growth. As VP Growth, you own the PLG motion end to end — designing the growth model, building the systems behind it, and proving its ROI across acquisition, activation, retention, monetisation, and expansion. This is a Product Department Leadership (PDL) role reporting to the CPO. You'll co-own product strategy with the CTO, CDO, and Product Directors — shaping not just how we grow, but what we build. Sales runs the parallel sales-assisted motion; you'll design the PQA handover that makes both stronger. You'll lead a multidisciplinary Growth organisation — Growth Product, Experimentation, Lifecycle, Product Marketing, and Acquisition — a newly consolidated area under Product. Build a function, not inherit one. YOUR MISSION Define and scale Mentimeter's PLG engine * Own the PLG strategy across acquisition, activation, retention, monetisation, and expansion * Design the growth model that takes us through our next stage of scale — and prove its ROI through compounding experiments, not one-off wins * Set the North Star and supporting metrics, and build the data and experimentation infrastructure that growth depends on Own acquisition and self-service revenue * Drive Registrations against budget and year-over-year, with improving unit economics (CAC, payback, LTV:CAC) * Own acquisition across organic, paid, product-led, and AI-driven discovery surfaces — SEO, GEO/LLM visibility * Hold P&L accountability for growth investment Orchestrate go-to-market and the PLG-to-Sales handover * Own GTM planning so Acquisition, Lifecycle, Growth Product, and Product Marketing act on a shared plan — not in silos * Engineer the PQA handover — the data foundations and triggers that surface high-intent accounts to Sales as a system, not a handoff meeting * Lead positioning, messaging, and launch execution for major releases Build the function and shape company strategy * Build, coach, and develop senior leaders across the Growth area * Define what AI-native growth looks like at Mentimeter — across experimentation, content, lifecycle, personalization, and analytics * Influence product roadmap, pricing, and multi-year strategy through growth signal as a PDL member WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR Experienced PLG growth executive * 10+ years in Growth, Product Marketing, or related, with significant PLG SaaS leadership experience * Track record of scaling PLG businesses through revenue inflection points * Experience balancing PLG with sales-assisted motions so both reinforce each other Commercially minded and outcome driven * Proven owner of acquisition and self-service revenue outcomes: Registrations, CAC, LTV, payback, ARR * Designs growth strategies with demonstrable ROI on investment * Translates growth signal into decisions we can act on A builder with a founder mindset * Decides with incomplete information; moves first, refines second * Owns outcomes, not activities and energy for ambiguity and change * Builds systems and functions from imperfect starting points Data-driven and AI-native * Deep experience with experimentation methodology (A/B testing, holdouts, incrementality) and unit economics * Passionate about using AI to multiply growth velocity — across experimentation, content, lifecycle, and analysis * Curious about emerging acquisition surfaces (GEO/LLM) and how AI is reshaping growth Why Mentimeter, Why Now * Profitable PLG at scale, with the runway and ambition for the next chapter * Build the motion that takes us from single-tool to engagement suite * Define AI-native growth, don't catch up to it * PDL seat: co-own product strategy, not adjacent to it * A Growth area to build, not inherit * Stockholm-based, globally ambitious, sustainably paced Compensation: At Mentimeter, we believe in fair and transparent compensation that grows with you. The salary range for this role is SEK 103,000–SEK 119,000 per month. It’s intentionally broad to reflect the different stages of growth within the role: from early development to deep expertise and meaningful impact. Where an individual is placed within the range depends on factors such as relevant experience, demonstrated skills, and alignment with the role’s requirements. We’re committed to supporting your growth. You’ll have ongoing development conversations with your manager, and your salary will evolve as you build skills and contribute to our mission. In addition to your monthly salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package—learn more about it here: https://www.mentimeter.com/benefits/stockholm. All of this comes attached with a competitive compensation and benefits package, including pension contributions. Learn more about our benefits by visiting our Benefits & Perks page AI and Hiring at Mentimeter At Mentimeter, we believe AI helps us work smarter - but it never replaces the human assessment, curiosity, and personal connection that define our culture and our hiring. We use AI as a sparring partner: to bounce ideas, bring new perspectives, support structure, and make our work more efficient. But the meaning, decisions, and interactions always come from people. * AI does not screen or decide on candidates. * There is no automated filtering, ranking, or decision-making in our recruitment process. Every application is reviewed by a person. * Hiring teams may use AI to support their work - for example, to structure notes, prepare interview questions, or organize their thinking. AI strengthens our work, but it does not define it. At Mentimeter, we’re not building an AI-driven hiring process - we’re building a people-first culture, where technology helps us listen, learn, and grow together. Culture at Mentimeter At Mentimeter we believe in giving everyone a voice - regardless of who you are. So we build a platform that does just that. Our platform is not only our product but also our organization. A platform where people feel safe, where differences are embraced, a place where you can have fun. We strongly encourage applicants who are people of color, LGBTQ+, women, people with disabilities, and/or formerly incarcerated people, and a college degree is not strictly required. In order to give everyone a voice, we need to be as diverse as our users. Learn more about our culture by visiting our Culture page. Review our Privacy Policy for more information.
