The role focuses on automated verification o functional and non‑functional levels, using dSPACE tools and CI/CD integration. About the Assignment You will work hands‑on with HIL rigs, implement automated test scripts, and execute verification of end‑user functions. The work includes learning the customer’s workflow, using provided requirements (FRS) and test descriptions (SWTDs), and collaborating closely with their teams throughout the project phases. Som ingenjör hos oss arbetar du nära experter både globalt inom AVL och ute hos våra kunder – alltid med teknik i absolut framkant. Som Automotive Software Engineer arbetar du med utveckling av mjukvara för fordonsfunktioner och elektrifierade system. Du kommer att vara aktiv i hela utvecklingskedjan – från krav och arkitektur till integration och test – och du får arbeta både praktiskt och metodiskt i avancerade utvecklingsprojekt.I rollen kommer du att arbeta nära systemingenjörer och arkitekter för att översätta krav till en robust mjukvaruarkitektur, där du använder modellerings- och designverktyg som stöd i arbetet. Du ansvarar för att designa och utveckla applikationsfunktionalitet och algoritmer, antingen genom att skriva ren och effektiv kod i C eller C++, eller genom modellering och implementering i Simulink. Arbetet innebär också att du deltar i och bidrar till moderna CI/CD miljöer och använder versionshanteringsverktyg som Git, Gerrit, Jenkins och Docker.Du stödjer verifierings- och valideringsaktiviteter genom hela mjukvarans livscykel, vilket inkluderar statisk kodanalys, enhetstestning samt testning i MIL-, SIL- och HIL miljöer. En viktig del av rollen är även att säkerställa stabila byggprocesser och hantera mjukvaruintegration på ett strukturerat sätt. Utöver detta arbetar du tvärfunktionellt och multidisciplinärt enligt MBSE principer och agila arbetssätt. I denna roll arbetar du antingen i våra interna projekt eller på uppdrag ute hos någon av våra kunder. Du har lätt att ta initiativ och gillar att utvecklas i takt med projekt och teknik.
