JOIN OUR TEAM As Junior Translation Specialist, you will be responsible for translating our product descriptions to Danish, as well as translating and proofreading the newsletter and texts that appear on our website, such as marketing texts or visual materials. Our department provides translations for all Westwing countries. This position requires precision and a detail-oriented mindset, taking into account the wider business perspective. We offer daily work with the language, great atmosphere in a team of young people from different countries and much more! This position is limited to 6 months and based in Warsaw or remotely in Poland. THE ROLE WiseEnergy is looking for a Technical Analyst & Site Manager to oversee the technical performance, operational reliability, and field activities of a portfolio of utility-scale solar PV assets. This is a hybrid role combining technical asset analysis with hands-on site management. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring plant performance, managing technical incidents, coordinating O&M contractors, conducting site inspections, and ensuring compliance with contractual, regulatory, and safety requirements. Acting as the key technical representative for assigned assets, you will work closely with internal teams, clients, contractors, and stakeholders to maximize asset availability, optimize performance, and drive continuous improvement across the portfolio. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute directly to the growth and operational excellence of renewable energy projects. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES * Monitor, analyze, and report on the daily technical and operational performance of utility-scale solar PV plants. * Identify performance trends, diagnose technical issues, and implement corrective actions to maximize energy production, plant availability, and performance ratios. * Manage technical incidents from identification through resolution, ensuring minimal operational impact. * Act as the primary technical interface between WiseEnergy, O&M contractors, EPC contractors, clients, and other stakeholders. * Conduct regular site visits and inspections to assess asset condition, maintenance quality, operational effectiveness, HSE compliance, and technical risks. * Oversee contractor performance and ensure compliance with contractual obligations, KPIs, and industry best practices. * Prepare and deliver technical performance reports, operational analyses, and annual O&M budgets. * Produce site inspection and risk-based reports, prioritizing actions according to generation impact, operational risk, safety, and compliance requirements. * Support EPC punch-list management and monitor EPC warranty obligations during post-construction phases. * Coordinate with Distribution Network Operators (DNOs), insurers, regulatory bodies, and external stakeholders to ensure ongoing compliance. * Maintain accurate technical documentation, asset records, and operational procedures. * Support SCADA monitoring, troubleshooting activities, and system integration projects. * Participate in technical due diligence, feasibility assessments, and the evaluation of new renewable energy opportunities. * Support engineering activities during construction, commissioning, and operational phases. * Conduct technical audits and contribute to business continuity and disaster recovery planning. * Drive process improvements, strengthen internal controls, and support operational excellence initiatives. * Mentor junior team members and contribute to the development of technical best practices across the team. SKILLS & COMPETENCIES To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate: * Time management & prioritization skills - things can get a little hectic, so the ability to effectively manage yourself and your workload is critical * Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (in English or/and other European languages) - you must be able to organize your thoughts in a way that others find clear and compelling. EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS * Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Renewable Energy, Science, or another STEM-related discipline. * 3–5 years of experience within the renewable energy sector, preferably within solar PV Asset Management, O&M, EPC, Owner's Engineering, Technical Advisory, or related roles. * Strong technical knowledge of utility-scale solar PV plants, including operation, maintenance, and performance management. * Practical site experience during construction, commissioning, operations, or maintenance of ground-mounted solar PV facilities. * Experience managing site activities, contractors, and technical stakeholders. * Familiarity with SCADA systems and plant performance monitoring tools. * Strong analytical capability with experience interpreting operational data and identifying root causes of performance issues. * Fluent English and Spanish. * Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills. * Excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills. * Willingness to travel regularly to project sites.
