Electrical Engineer

JOB OVERVIEW ENPULSION is looking for a Test Engineer (f/m/x) to join our Engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and analyzing functional and environmental tests for our electric space propulsion systems and components. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will develop test setups and documentation, support product qualification, and help ensure our products meet the highest standards of quality, reliability, and performance. Key Responsibilities: * Development and qualification assembling and testing of electric space propulsion systems and components. * Establishing test documentation including test plans, procedures, and reports. * Plan and conduct functional and environmental tests (in accordance with product managers). * Defining and realizing test set-ups and maintenance of necessary (E)GSE for testing and qualification including vacuum systems. * Analysis of test results. * Collaboration with Product Assurance and Quality Assurance. Type of contract: Full time position with 38.5 hours/week  Salary: The minimum base salary for this position starts at EUR 2707.40 gross per month on a full-time basis (38.5 h/week), with a planned significant overpayment of 3000-3600 EUR depending on your professional experience and qualifications. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply. * Initial professional experience (0–2 years) in a technical environment (laboratory testing) is an advantage, but not required. * Basic understanding of electrical, mechanical, and software systems, with the ability and willingness to work across different technical areas. * Thinking out of the box and contributing to continuous improvements and anticipating potential issues. * An in-depth understanding and professional verbal level of the English language is a must, German is an advantage. * Proactive, structured mindset with high level of ownership and accountability * Self-driven, analytical, problem-solving skills and a team player. JOB OVERVIEW ENPULSION is looking for an Embedded Software Engineer (f/m/x) to join our Engineering department. In this role, you will be responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of embedded software for our propulsion systems. You will work closely with hardware, systems, and testing teams to deliver reliable, high-performance software aligned with system requirements and industry standards. Key Responsibilities: * Implement, verify and maintain embedded software modules in C/C++ for microcontrollers from requirements following coding standards. * Create and maintain Verification and Validation Plans. * Develop code and setups for unit tests. * Establish and maintain source code documentation (e.g. SDD). * Support system tests with data analysis. * Maintain configuration control of source code and artefacts. * Maintain and support production and testing tools (python). * Perform trouble shooting of failures as well as define and implement corrective actions. Type of contract: Full time position with 38.5 hours/week  Salary: The minimum base salary for this position starts at EUR 2.727,40 gross per month on a full-time basis (38.5 h/week), with a planned significant overpayment depending on your professional experience and qualifications. YOUR PROFILE * C/C++ coding experience. * V model/requirements-based development. * Basic understanding of electronics and physics. * Experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps, and version control systems (Git). * Experience developing real-time embedded applications (RTOS, Bare-Metal). * Understanding of basic control systems (PID, Rate-Limiting). IDEAL SKILLS * Experience in safety critical field (Aerospace/automotive or ISO26262). * Ability to use oscilloscope. * Ability to review electrical schematics. WHY US?
