Qualifications and Key Success Factors * Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree in business, healthcare, life sciences, or a related discipline preferred, or equivalent experience. * Extensive experience in pharmaceutical or biotechnology market access, payer engagement, regional accounts, or related commercial leadership roles. * Demonstrated success working with regional commercial health plans, Medicaid managed care organizations, state Medicaid agencies, regional Blue plans, and other regional payer organizations. * Strong understanding of U.S. reimbursement and market access, including Medicaid policy, managed care, commercial health plans, Medicare Part D, specialty pharmacy, and evolving payer dynamics. * Experience supporting payer reviews, value communication, reimbursement strategy, and implementation of clinically appropriate utilization management approaches. * Experience supporting pre-launch and launch activities, including account planning, payer strategy, value communication, and cross-functional commercialization. * Experience in CNS, specialty pharmaceuticals, rare disease, or other complex therapeutic areas strongly preferred. * Strong business acumen with the ability to connect regional market dynamics to commercial performance and patient access. * A high degree of ownership, intellectual curiosity, sound judgment, and accountability. * Ability to travel approximately 50–70% based on business needs. * The physical and mental requirements of our roles include but are not limited to regular use of a computer, devices or other office equipment, clear communication, and occasional movement. We’re a small but mighty team transforming how businesses manage vehicle reimbursement — replacing outdated programs with smart, automated solutions. Our vision is bold: to provide the most comprehensive, intelligent, and automated software and services for creating ideal vehicle programs. And we’re building toward that vision every single day. Join us and you’ll find challenge, growth, and the chance to deliver real impact — helping hundreds of companies and thousands of drivers across North America focus on the work that matters most to them. Cardata is looking for an Implementation Specialist to own the end-to-end onboarding and implementation of new customers joining our platform. You will take ownership of customer onboarding from kickoff through requirements gathering, system configuration, testing, user training, go-live, and post-launch validation. This role is a key driver of customer time-to-value. You will ensure each customer’s program is configured accurately, stakeholders are prepared to use the platform, and the account is ready for a successful transition into its ongoing Customer Success and Account Management relationships. This is a hands-on, customer-facing role for someone who can combine detailed system configuration with strong project ownership, training, and executive-level communication. You will work independently to drive implementations forward while partnering closely with Sales, Customer Success, Account Management, Product, Engineering, and internal systems teams. What you will do * Own new customer implementations from Sales handoff through go-live and initial post-launch validation. * Lead kickoff calls, align on timelines, milestones, responsibilities, and launch requirements. * Gather customer requirements, workflows, business rules, and configuration needs. * Configure customer programs, workflows, permissions, rules, and system settings in Cardata’s platform. * Validate customer data, test configurations, troubleshoot issues, and confirm launch readiness. * Deliver onboarding and training for customer admins, operational stakeholders, drivers, and end users. * Manage expectations, track milestones, dependencies, risks, and customer action items and next steps throughout implementation. * Coordinate cross-functional deliverables across Sales, Customer Success, Product, and Engineering and internal systems teams to ensure smooth launches. * Complete structured handoffs to Customer Success and Account Management after go-live. * Escalate implementation risks early to maintain launch commitments, surface recurring implementation challenges, product feedback, and process improvement opportunities. * Continuously identify opportunities to automate implementation activities and reduce manual effort through system enhancements and AI-enabled workflows. * Contribute to implementation documentation, templates, training materials, and scalable workflows. What you bring * 5-8 years of experience in enterprise SaaS implementation, customer onboarding, professional services, solutions delivery, or a related customer-facing role. * Experience independently managing customer implementations from kickoff through go-live, ideally in an enterprise SaaS environment. * Strong ability to manage complex requirements, stakeholders, timelines, dependencies, and launch risks. * Ability to translate business and operational requirements into system configurations. * Experience working in configurable software platforms and learning complex products quickly. * Confident customer-facing communication skills, including expectation management, stakeholder alignment, and training facilitation. * Strong attention to detail, documentation, organization, and follow-through. * Ability to work independently while partnering effectively across Sales, Customer Success, Product, and technical teams. * High learning agility and adaptability as products, processes, and customer needs evolve. * Experience with CRM or customer success platforms such as Gainsight, HubSpot, or Salesforce. NICE TO HAVE * Experience with customer training, enablement, or change management * Familiarity with reimbursement, compliance, payroll, HR, finance, or operational workflows * Experience helping build or improve an implementation function, playbook, or repeatable onboarding process Compensation: In line with Ontario’s Pay Transparency legislation, the expected base compensation for this role is $85,000–$100,000 CAD annually, with actual earnings dependent on experience, skills, and performance. This is a vacant position, and we are hiring with intention and seeking someone who will bring new perspective, contribute meaningfully to the team, and grow with the organization. Why you’ll love working at Cardata: We’ll be honest — Cardata isn’t for everyone. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, take extreme ownership, and constantly push yourself (and your work) to be the best, you’ll fit right in. You’ll be surrounded by driven teammates who genuinely care — about the work, about our customers, and about helping each other succeed. Together, we take on ambitious goals and celebrate the wins along the way. What we offer in return for you bringing your best: * Remote work and flexible working hours * Mentorship and development opportunities (to help you achieve your career goals!) * Extended medical & dental benefits * Healthcare spending account * $3,000 annual Health and Wellness Spending Account to support your overall wellbeing * Employee assistance program (EAP) * Flexible (Unlimited) Time Off: No annual cap on vacation, supported by a trust-based, flexible approach to time away. Cardata is an equal opportunity employer. All candidates will be equally considered without regard to race, ancestry, place of origin, colour, ethnic origin, language, citizenship, creed, religion, gender/gender identity, sexual orientation, age, marital status, physical and/or mental handicap or financial ability. We are dedicated to creating an inclusive environment where everyone feels welcome to bring their authentic selves to work.
