We are looking for an SDET to join a small, high impact team. You will shape quality from the ground up across everything we ship:
the Veridian Wallet, enterprise credential management applications, cloud based backend services and open source protocol
libraries. Our stack builds on the open protocols KERI and ACDC using components such as KERIA (Python), Signify-TS and
Signify-Java.
You will wear multiple hats, in a highly complex domain. Some weeks that means writing test automation frameworks. Other weeks it
means jumping into CI/CD pipelines, debugging a flaky mobile build, reviewing security sensitive code or helping define acceptance
criteria for a feature that did not exist last month. In this role you will:
ABOUT THE ROLE Peloton's Music Quality Engineering team is looking for an expert, well-rounded Software Development Engineer In Test (SDET) to work on our Music apps. In this role, you will own responsibility for the quality of the products and work closely with Software developers, Product Management and help cultivate a quality attitude, mentor and advocate for quality while assisting teams with software testing practices. As such, an SDET is a test professional with advanced programming skills who can create automation testing tools and frameworks to assist the manual testing process. To be successful as an SDET, you should have excellent time management and organizational skills as well as strong interpersonal skills. You should have a passion for designing, development, and testing and the ability to upgrade your technical skills within the constantly evolving technology sector. YOUR DAILY IMPACT AT PELOTON * Implementing test tools and frameworks that will help us release with confidence * Working with teams to understand test automation gaps and implement coverage * Working with teams to make testing an integral part of the software development process * Coordinating testing efforts across teams to ensure delivery of high-quality features * Assisting in driving adoption of best practices in testing and maintainability * Participating in code reviews (PR’s) YOU BRING TO PELOTON * 3+ years of experience in both manual and automation testing * Experience in using code repositories (Git, JIRA, Confluence, or similar tools) * Experience working with cross-functional scrum teams * Exceptional test proficiency and expertise in formal and informal testing techniques as well as quality reporting * Ability to accomplish complex engineering tasks independently * Experience with Automation frameworks similar to Karate API, Cypress, Playwright, XCUITest * Assist in mentoring and coaching * Familiarity with iOS device testing (Appium or Swift) * Familiarity with iOS Automation #LI-JS2 #LI-Hybrid ABOUT PELOTON: Peloton (NASDAQ: PTON) provides Members with expert instruction, and world class content to create impactful and entertaining workout experiences for anyone, anywhere and at any stage in their fitness journey.
