Role and Team
Reporting to the Inspections or Operations Manager executing processes at our facility to ensure our team members, customers, and
assets are protected. At our gates, you will be the face of ADESA to our customers, vendors and associates. You will play an
active role in ensuring our Inventory Control procedures are followed. You will be adept at utilizing ADESA technology. You will
support vehicle location research when necessary. This position is hourly and reports to the Operations or designated manager.
This position may work various shifts and weekends.

Band 2 HB Security Supervisor Primary Responsibilities: Direct and supervise Safety & Security Officers on their shift in providing security and emergency response services throughout the resort ensuring that performance is within the guidelines of written procedures and resort philosophy. Enforce security and safety guidelines to safeguard resort and guest property. Investigate and document incidents of concern and properly respond to resolve issues. Essential Duties: 1. Respond rapidly to all emergencies and handle crisis situations in an efficient and professional manner. Exhibit a calming demeanor and has the ability to manage emergency situations. 2. Direct officers and does foot and mobile patrol of the entire resort. 3. Investigation and fact finding inquires through short and long term observation, review of documentation, interviews and interrogations. 4. Accurately document incidents, inquires and investigations. 5. Enforce security and safety guidelines to safeguard resort and guest property. 6. Train, supervise, direct and counsel employees under his direction to insure proper response to emergencies and securing resort facilities. 7. Coordinate and supervise special assignments. 8. Assist the DOSS in the day-to-day operations of the department. 9. Perform all duties of a Safety & Security Officer. 10. Act as liaison with residential homeowners to ensure their safety, security and risk management concerns or issues are addressed. 11. Coordinate and supervise the gated controlled access throughout the resort, ensure constant residential patrols and monitor all traffic flows. 12. Meet regularly with homeowners and their associations to discuss their concerns or to provide proactive emergency home management crisis advice. 13. Perform other related duties as assigned or required. Other Duties: 1. Perform department administrative functions, i.e. issuing lockers, parking decals, etc. 2. Train team members/leaders in other departments on safety and security issues. Working Conditions: 1. Normal office conditions. 2. Outdoors in various weather conditions. 3. Travel throughout the resort Work Hours: 1. Must be able to work schedule designated by the Director of Safety and Security. 2. Must be able to work long and irregular hours. 3. Must be able to work more than 40 hours per week. Equipment Use: 1. Proficient in the use of a computer and with the resort’s word, spreadsheet and other required software. 2. Ability to use the telephone, radio, camera. 3. Ability to use various office equipment including but not limited to calculators, photocopiers and facsimile machines. 4. Able to drive a vehicle 5. Able to operate a utility cart. 6. Ability to operate AED. Mental and Physical Demands: 1. Ability to prioritize and organize workload to ensure deadlines is met. 2. Able to manage stressful and challenging situations. 3. Must be able to quickly analyze emergency situations, remain calm and take charge. 4. Able to stand, walk, bend and reach during most of shift. 5. Able to sit at a desk to do administrative duties. 6. Lift and carry up to 10 lbs. Communication Demands: 1. Must have the ability to communicate verbally and in writing to employees, department manager and guests/clients. 2. Ability to communicate over the phone or radio. 3. ABOUT THE POSITION We are looking for security professionals to protect Chase Center and the surrounding 11-acre complex. In this position, you will collaborate with an extensive group of internal and external partners, including our guests, clients, facility operations, law enforcement agencies, and our retail and office tenants. We are excited to build out our security team to ensure we are providing an unparalleled experience to our fans and clients. This position reports to the Building Shift Security Supervisor on duty. This is a part-time position based in San Francisco, CA. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES * Provide a safe and secure environment for all Chase Center employees, guests, performers, vendors, contractors, and visitors * Tour post periodically to ensure safety of patrons, staff, vendors, participants and others on premises * Properly screen patrons during ingress using metal detectors, bag searches, x-ray technology, & hand wanding techniques * Regulate and control access points to sensitive areas throughout the arena by checking for proper credentials * Resolve escalated security situations, providing appropriate warnings and complete ejections if warranted/necessary * Serve as escalation point for complaints/issues * Always ensure enforcement and compliance of the venue’s event policies * Handle any disturbances or problems that arise during events at the facility * Write incident reports and meet with security supervisor to review procedures * Tour facility examining doors, windows and gates to ensure they are secured * Assist with crowd control inside and outside of premises, including during evacuations caused by fires, storms, riots and other emergencies * Answer alarms and investigate disturbances * Assist and work across all lines of business within the organization * Run access control reports when necessary * Other duties as assigned REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & SKILLS * Minimum 2 years of hands-on security experience * Possess an active California guard card * Familiarity with incident management software and reporting * Proficiency in Microsoft Office to complete written reports and correspondence * Ability to building positive relationships with all levels of management, government agencies, and local police/fire departments * Ability to read and comprehend documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals * Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to handle sensitive and heightened customer situations on-site * Knowledge of arena, plaza, and esplanade layout, as well as event staff roles and their associate areas of responsibility * Ability to maintain a flexible work schedule including nights, weekends, on-call and holidays as necessary PHYSICAL DEMANDS * Ability to lift, carry, push and pull up to 50 lbs. * Ability to walk, stand and climb stairs for extended lengths of time * Ability to work in various climates (i.e., cold weather) TIME COMMITMENT * Available to work event days, including weekends * Available shifts: 11:30pm - 8:00am and 3:30pm - 12:00am COMPENSATION * $23.00 per hour Pursuant to the San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance, we will consider for employment qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records.
