About the Role: * We seek a talented test engineer to support new project from feasibility test for protocol / EB builds to MP ECN changing qualification, in Suzhou, China. * You will have the mindset that anything is possible and possess the willingness to do whatever it takes to win. Will also work with supplier’s lab team together to leverage resource to support fast-paced development process and multi projects at same time. * Also support our testing improvement “standardization” and “efficiency”. LOCATION: [Suzhou, China] Here are some of the EXCITING things you’ll get to do: Responsibilities: * Verify and qualify the design to ensure the good reliability of product. * Ensure the test Process goes smoothly. * Project management and test failure follow up (report, analysis and communication with team) * Implement Company’s Quality Plan at Suzhou Lab. * Ensure that the Test Manager is immediately informed of serious test issues. * Ensure compliance to regulations and corporate policies and procedures. * Ensures that the Test items in DQTP are aligned to the related standards, Product Specification or Drawing and customer specific requirements. * DQTP creation for New Project and ECN etc. * Key Component test plan creation. * Test arrangement & schedule follow up according to approved DQTP. * Test failure sample check & analysis. * Jira generation and communication with team for improvement, verification & closure. * Weekly report on the responsible project testing status. * New Test Fixture development per new requirement. * New Test Protocols generation. * Test data review to ensure the test data accuracy. * Complete the Test Request on system on time. * Technical support on Supplier Laboratory. * Implement the NPD & ECNs etc. testing per DQTP and related test protocols. * Deliver the test summary (or report) on time. * Support the Product Readiness activities for new products. * Review of Customer return data to develop new test items (or fixture) to avoid the similar issue, provide Test Engineering support for customer complaint investigation. * Provide the technical training for test Technicians and operators. * Complete the DQTP test & Test Summary 90% on time per timeline. * Achieve goals/ objectives set by Test Engineering Manager. * Control the test summary accuracy rate is 98% or above. * No major design verification missing. * The test related issues need to be 100% reported & recorded. * Release the Failure Alert to team within 36hrs(workdays). * Control the repeat test item (<=2). * Lead energy consumption test protocol development for different categories Skills: * Knowledgeable of Organizational Awareness * Good at Problem Analysis and Solutions * Good at Verbal and Written communication (English) * Some knowledgeable of Coaching and Mentoring * Some knowledgeable of Managing Relationships * Advanced knowledgeable of Team Orientation/ Engaged Team Player * Persuasiveness meets general requirement * Initiative meets general requirement * Knowledgeable of Change Orientation/ Drives Positive Change * Knowledgeable of Endurance * Some knowledgeable of Decision Making/ Risk Management * Some knowledgeable of Leadership and Management * Advanced knowledgeable of Quality Orientation/ Attention to Details * Meet general requirement in Adaptability * Meet general requirement in Result Orientation/ Focused * Sensitive to the Deviation/Defect * Knowledge of ISO9001 * Knowledge of Statistical Tools * Knowledge of Manufacturing and Development Process * Advanced Computer Skills Minimum Qualifications / Experience: * 10 years+ working experience in a Laboratory environment. * Experienced in Household Appliance testing. * Training with ISO9001. * Experience in generating test protocols & evaluation of the equipment and fixture. * Working knowledge of UL1017, UL499 & IEC60335-1 etc. safety standards and applying the standards to verify safety margins during qualification process. * Demonstrated high level of engagement and self-motivation. * Proficiency in writing, reading English. * Good coordination skills and teamwork spirit. At Stoneridge in Örebro, our Production Engineering team makes sure every product that leaves the line performs exactly as it should. As our new Test Engineer, you'll own the test solutions for new product introductions — designing them from the ground up — and continuously sharpen the tests already running in production. Your work directly shapes the quality, reliability and efficiency of technologies that go into commercial vehicles around the world. You'll report to the Production Engineering Manager and work alongside a hands-on, cross-functional team that values curiosity and ownership. What you'll do Design and build production test software, methods and equipment for both new products and existing lines. Specify, procure, install and validate new test systems — and keep current ones running at their best. Be the go-to expert for production teams when test challenges, product changes or process changes come up. Build and evaluate prototypes, giving the development team clear feedback to improve quality and manufacturability. Own the documentation — test procedures, verification and training that keep knowledge in the team. Drive the numbers that matter: test yield, downtime and PPM, and support quotations and approval workflows. What you bring BSc/MSc in Electronics (or equivalent experience) with 5+ years in test engineering, production or industrialization — automotive preferred. Strong electronics fundamentals — you can read and create electrical schematics. Experience with vision systems (Cognex VisionPro, AVT or similar). Proficiency in graphical programming tools such as LabVIEW or Keysight VEE. Solid grasp of statistics (Cpk, standard deviation); Six Sigma Green Belt is an advantage. Professional level of Swedish and English. Bonus skills: Minitab, C# and CAN protocols.
