Your opportunity
We are looking for a driven and skilled IT & OT Security Coordinator to join our team at Boliden. In this role, you will play a vital part in safeguarding, improving, and maintaining a high level of security across our smelters and related OT/IT environments. By combining your technical expertise with close collaboration across operations and security, you will help identify risks and implement effective, sustainable protective measures. You will work in a dynamic environment where you can influence how security is developed and strengthened within Boliden’s smelters.
Who you will work with
You will act as a bridge between operational needs and security requirements, working closely with mine operations as well as local and central IT Security and Infrastructure teams and external partners. Together you ensure that solutions fit seamlessly into our overall OT/IT landscape while upholding standards for reliability, safety and performance. The role is based at the office with regular presence at our sites as needed.
Work with a talented team of IT professionals dedicated to delivering a high level of service and support.
Identify, assess and prioritize security risks within OT systems and networks.
Troubleshoot OT network/security issues and provide timely resolutions to minimize downtime and disruptions.
Collaborate in cross-functional projects and take a key role in identifying improvement areas and implementing enhancements.
Stay up to date with relevant security trends, threats and best practice and keep documentation current.
Develop and implement risk-based security strategies, standards and protocols.
Conduct or coordinate security audits/assessments and participate in a security task force/incident response when needed.
Collaborate with external partners and suppliers to ensure compliance with our security standards and secure integrations.
What you bring

Relevant education in OT/IT security or related field or equivalent practical experience.
Experience working with IT related security solutions, tools and frameworks.
Broad experience in security patch management and vulnerability remediation.
Hands-on experience with network security, encryption technologies, and firewalls.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
Experience with agile working methods and project participation.
Analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to details.
A passion for learning and staying updated on emerging technologies and best practices.
Communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to stakeholders.
Proficiency in English written and spoken, Swedish is an advantage.
B-Driving license.
Experience in industrial/OT environments
Familiarity with frameworks such as NIST or ISO 27001
Experience working in agile or project-based environments
Success in this role

As a Senior OT Security Consultant, you will work closely with our customers, often directly within their OT environments. Assignments are both national and international, meaning travel and on-site customer presence are a natural part of the role—often for several consecutive days during project execution phases. Your responsibilities will include: - Trusted OT Security Advisor Act as a long-term, trusted advisor to our customers on strategic and operational security matters. As a Security Analyst, you will protecting our customers against cyber threats and IT security attacks. You will be responsible for identifying and analyzing potential security incidents and escalating them to our customers when necessary. To support your work, you will have access to a range of SIEM, SOAR, and XDR platforms. In this role, you will proactively and reactively defend our customers against cyberattacks. In addition, you will be involved in a growing Operational Technology (OT) security area, where your responsibilities will include monitoring and analyzing security alerts from OT environments. Key Responsibilities Monitor and investigate security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk and Microsoft Sentinel). Manage solutions that provide customers with visibility into their OT environments, including presenting findings and leading continuous improvement initiatives. Analyze and mitigate threats using EDR and XDR platforms. Act as a Technical Delivery Manager for assigned customers, serving as their primary technical point of contact, delivering monthly reports, and maintaining customer environments. Independently evaluate security events and determine appropriate response actions. Document incident timelines and investigation findings.
